I rarely get this angry! I brought my dog to get groomed today at Petco in Rocklin. The staff is normally very friendly, particularly the woman with long blonde hair, but there were two new women in there today. I am checking her in and I hear "F*** stop!" I turned to my left to make sure I heard correctly and then again "OH MY GOSH. STOP MOVING. F****" The person I hear swearing is the groomer!! AT A DOG! Shes roughly handling the dog and swearing at it on the grooming table. I look at the woman checking us in and ask "Are you hearing this? Is this allowed?" The woman looks at me with a blank stare, completely uncomfortable. She doesnt say anything to her colleague who is CONTINUING to be rough with the dog and tell it "how annoying and disgusting" it is. Finally, I look at the woman checking me in and tell her "Im not getting my dog groomed here. This is ridiculous. Do you hear how shes speaking and treating that dog?" I walk out, tell everyone in line what just happened, and go to find the manager. The manager looks at me and responds "OK, I got it. Sorry." SERIOUSLY? Totally unprofessional and unkind! Imagine if you walked in and someone was roughly shoving your dog and swearing at it? To top it off, this was in a room where everyone in the store could see. What are they doing in the back room with the dogs where people cant see? Talked to the customer service hotline, and they said upper management is going to handle this and will call me back within 48 hours with an update.

After having a terrible time at PETSMART I came to PETCO for some aquatic bags I could transfer a fish in. There was a tall man with longer hair working in the aquarium department today and he was very nicely assisting a woman with fish that she just purchased. I had told him that I was looking for those exact bags that I could transfer my fish in. He was so sweet he gave me a couple bags and informed me of how to transport the fish correctly with an airpump and everything. I will return to this PETCO from now on and never again go to PETSMART. I really appreciate that employee!

The reptile were kept in unfair conditions low temperatures little water and wrong food for the animals (trust me I am a lizard expert I own 5 soon to be 6 lizards) the leopard geckos were starved to the bone and I resent them for not taking the time to do simple research on them and I hope they fix this problem and if your there please look at them and tell the staff the problems. And this isnt a onetime thing this is all over the USA

We took our cat to get a trim, as she was shedding terribly. However, the grooming staff recommended a bath instead as a more effective option. A bath for a cat!?!? She had a bath and the shedding greatly dropped, almost vanished! The staff is friendly, competent, and our cat was happy when we picked her up. Imagine, a cat happy about a bath! We will bring her again.

Tina in grooming is the only person who is allowed to mess with our dogs hair. 2 Shitzus and a golden doodle - always look great when we groom them with her at PetCo Rocklin.
