Its better than the one on Watt Ave! But, the other reviewers were right about the workers in the individual departments are very rude, VERY. AND complain...yes, COMPLAIN about helping you. Video center, fabric cutter, (almost next to impossible to get waited on to get fabric cut... Paint department, it is MPOSSIBLE to get help, let alone have anyone paint for you. Too, Bad. Oh, CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD CARE LESS< AS WELL AS MANAGERS THAT i HAVE DEALT WITH. (all but one, Ron who went out of his way to help me. and I do mean it. He stopped what he was doing, and went with me to the department and cut my fabric! Nice) The pharmacy screws up all the time and the ladies in there look absolutely EXHAUSTED, ALWAYS! NOW, I WANT TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE BEST WAL MART EVER.....IT IS IN HASLET, TEXAS ON AVONDALE/HASLET ROAD. LOVE THAT PLACE AND THOSE EMPLOYEES. HAVE NOT RUN ACROSS ONE, NOT ONE, EMPLOYEE WHO HAS NOT BEEN SUPER FRIENDLY, AND SUPER DUPER HELPFUL! i CAME IN WITH MY GRANDSON, 8 WKS, WITH DIARRHEA, AND HE WAS SCREAMING, AND I HAD FOUR EMPLOYEES HELPING ME WITH EVERYTHING! GETTING ME TO THE RESTROOM, GETTING ME A BOTTLE AND PEDIALYTE, ETC. REALLY SPECIAL. I COULD GO ON AND ON ABOUT THAT PLACE, AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I AM IN TEXAS IT IS FOR 2 MONTHS AT A TIME, AND I GO THERE EVERYDAY, SO THIS IS A REVIEW I CAN HONESTLY SAY IS COMPLETELY TRUE ABOUT THE EMPLOYEES. oh, and THE PHARMACY GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND AS WELL, SUPER HELPFUL FOLK. PLACERVILLE, SHOULD TAKE LESSONS FROM THEM.

While standing in line at WalMart today an assault took place right in front of me. A man was refilling his EBT card and the man in line behind him was becoming impatient. So, the man at the register turned around and punched him in the face and sent him to the ground causing a large laceration on his face. The cashier called security and the lady behind me called the cops. Meanwhile both the man who was punched and the man who punched him left. Heres the kicker....After 15 minutes of waiting for security or the cops to show up (because I wanted to make sure this was reported) NO ONE RESPONDED! This is outrageous for a multi billion dollar company to not protect their workers or other consumers when an event like this happens. The manager said this type of thing happens all the time. I will never step foot in another Walmart as I fear for my familys safety. I am not thrilled with the Placerville, PD either. Not one cop showed up by the time I left almost 30 minutes later. Walmart should also ramp up their security immediately to handle this growing violence epidemic before something worse happens.

For the most part, I dont really think about Walmart. Im in and out, but I was visiting this particular location during the holidays. So it wasnt such an in and out trip. I forgot what I needed exactly, but I remember I had to go to the electronics section. Oh a memory card, that is what I needed. Anyway, I was wearing my holiday gear: Elf Hat, Ugly Holiday Sweater, Flannel PJ bottoms, and Birkenstock shoes. I was in full holiday mood. Anyway, most people smiled when they saw me or welcomed me with a seasons greeting. The cashier was not amused. I felt like my very existence ruined her day. The holidays can have that affect especially working in retail (I know from experience). Anyway, she did not smile. She did not acknowledge my existence other than to give me the total for my purchase. I paid and offered a Happy Holidays farewell. She quickly snapped with, "It is Merry Christmas." So I politely repeated my farewell," Happy Holidays to you as well."

So we shop at this Walmart and everytime we do there are so many homeless and people smoking, cursing and talking about obsene topics. On monday September 5, 2016 my son went to this Walmart and was confronted by a homeless guy on a bike while he was still in his vehicle. The homeless guy began calling my son a spic and being very aggressive. My son asked him what his problem was and the guy became extremely irate and got off his bike and kicked my sons door and dented it. The door was kicked so hard that my son could not even close it anymore. I addressed this incident with the store management and the sheriffs were also called out. The main concern to me is customer safety and they advised me to make a complaint with corporate. He stated that the main concern was theft in the store. This upsets me and worries me that this may happen to another customer. Perhaps an elderly or a disabled. What would happen if that were to occur?

I wish I could give a no star rating! Ive never liked shopping at Walmart, but I discovered today that theyve locked literally all the shaving supplies behind glass doors, yet didnt think to add a call button, so you can ask an employee to get you a 97 cent can of shaving cream. They placed video screens on several aisles, to let you know youre being filmed. They allow you to use the self check out, yet have an employee check your receipt at the exit. The employee doesnt actually look in your bags, so you could still steal lots of stuff (just not shaving supplies). I cant believe they couldnt find better ways to deal with theft, and I will not shop somewhere that makes me jump through such insane hoops. Im done with Walmart.

I was just there at 6:30 AM this morning was treated like absolute garbage I had three items walked up to the front counter the lady scan all my items I swiped my debit card and it didnt come up so as we were trying to figure out what the debit problem was I decided to use a different card to see if that magnetism was better the lady proceeded to get mad at me because I did not hand her my card and let her do it on that side of the register so I asked for my card back and decided to leave all my items at the counter and I left absolutely horrible service I or my family or friends of mine will not be coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!

I prefer to go down to Folsom, or just shop on line. It feels dirty in the Placerville store. It does not feel friendly. It is hard to get the employees to help you. Everyone always seems to say that is so and sows department, I cant help you. You can wait ten minutes or more to get help in fabric. Most of all, the parking lot is scary. It does not feel like my car is safe. Everyone is going every which way in the parking lot. Part of the lot is blocked off for the garden supplies, which is not a problem, except, it messes with the flow of traffic for other businesses that share the lot with Wal-Mart.
