I have always song high praises for Target- clean stores, congenial customer service, and reasonable pricing and selection. But, two days before Christmas I encountered a very disturbing experience there. I wanted to get a Nutri Bullet Pro for Christmas. Target was open early so I purchased it about 9:15AM for $99. Got my receipt and left. Didnt pay much attention to the receipt. I went to Costco across the street which had just opened. In their featured items row that the show as you come into the store, I noticed they carried the same item for $75. I wont usually return an item if it is 10% or less difference. But 25% or $25 less makes it a no brainier for me. I buy the Nutrabullet pro there. So, I returned the Target purchase for a refund. I pulled out my receipt and the refund went back on my credit card. No hassle. I got home and looked at the receipt and the refund ticket. Target only refunded $89 of the $99 original purchase. Now, remember, this purchase and refund took place in about an so there had been no transactional or accounting close out for the day. I looked at my receipt ..and noticed this notation on the receipt that the refund amount would only be $89 (a 10% charge). This was the 1st time this happened to me for a same day (more specifically same hour!) return to a store. I am totally finished with Target as a shopping option for future purchases. I think that type of policy resembles earlier practices like charging to use a credit card for a purchase. It is not about the money but the practice of charging to return an item before the transaction had been closed or the item reordered because it was printed on the receipt to do so.. How many people read the reintegration which is 12 to 24 inches long for two items. I feel this is not a sound or honest practice to put on a consumer. Bah TARGET!

Horrible. My mother does not speak full English. She was asked to apply for a red card. She declined. Yet the cashier asked her for her DL. I asked my mom if she physically input anything into the pin pad. She said no. Since she cant read English. I asked her if the cashier did anything. She said yes and that my mom had mentioned she did not know her social. Yet the cashier continues to apply for this card that she did not want. We got a letter in the mail she was declined because a incorrect social was imputed. I called the store to let them know. Spoke to manager Ally. Defended her associates. Told me to call the number on the letter. Which I will. Also these associates cannot take advantaged of customers just to meet their personal credit goal and the store goal wrongfully. This is unacceptable. I hope Ally talks to her associates in better training and how to succescully have their customers apply for a card. Not just input wrong information so their store meets their credit goal. Especially not to take advantaged of others like did they did with my mom. Im sure they have bilingual associates that could have assisted the cashier to successfully achieve their goal.

Le doy 3 estrellas porque me gusta pero hoy 12/28/2016, toda la tienda estaba super sucia, me decepciono desde el baño las paredes, ropa tirada por todos lados, en la cafetería todo sucio, mal servicio, etc, etc, lo único bueno y amable fue la cajera y el chico de electrónica que me facilito una canasta para poner mis compras, otra cosa los que también vi que pusieron empeño en su trabajo fueron los chicos que recogían los carritos afuera de la tienda, lástima que esto hubiera pasado, de lo demás Target siempre ha sido mi tienda favorita

There were so many more clearance items in womens clothes than last time I was here about 6 months ago. Also, judging by the disorderliness of things, it appears as if this particular Target is extremely shorthanded. Why would they be shorthanded? Dont people want to work at Target? Or are the people who could be working here too caught up in the bullish×× distractions (I.e., the famous Target bathroom debacle) brought to you by the government itself to take your eyes off of actual important events that go on right under our noses? Do these isssues matter? Yes. Is there a reason the corporate sponsored Fox "news" (or as I call it, FAUX) station plays the same "news" clip over and over and over and over and over when there are so many other important events here in America that deserve coverage.

I am the size of an average woman in the world. I looked it up. Every pair of pants I tried on at Target over the last 5 years was so long I would have to hem the, or wear 4 inch heals so they wouldnt drag. I don want to buy new pants and take them home and have to do a sewing project before I can wear them. Target needs to get a clue HALF the women in the world are my size or smaller. Get real about how long our legs are. I rarely even Christmas shop at TRAGET because the first thing I feel when I think about going there is frustration.

If you sign up for a credit (red) card while in line, the employees at the register are trained to lie to you about the terms of the card if you ask clarifying questions. The card required my permission for telemarketers to call me unsolicited. When I asked the employee at the register what that meant she said "oh, dont worry, they wont call you." I have since been bombarded by telemarketing calls, even after I discontinued my red card. The employees get a commission if they get you to sign up so they are lying to you for personal gain.

Went in to buy a fire HD tablet kids version. Online it said there was one left. I looked were the tablets were and didnt see anything. I asked one of the workers, and with somewhat of an irritable voice said they didnt have any. He didnt even bother to look, point me in the right direction or see if there system had any in stock. I checked online again and it showed there was still one left. I looked around and found the amazon products were in a different section and sure enough there was one left. Horrible customer service.

Parking lot is awful Hard to get into and out of More parking is needed But thats what happens when its the only big retailer in the area for general foods SLO has many smaller store but target was much needed in this town for many years This location has a few things in the shopping center but this is the main attraction A Starbucks is inside the store to the left of the entrance Self checkout is usually not crowded making the fact that the store is always crowded less overwhelming a experience

As Target stores go, this is a very nice one. However, Target has a policy of hiring very odd disaffected people covered with tattoos and big metal disks in their ears. Recently I saw a half half-man half woman with lipstick and crazy hair working in the front at the check stand. Target also has there bathrooms open for men and women depending on how you feel that day you can use any bathroom you like. I feel that companies like Target are encouraging our society to devolve.
