Double charge my account and refuses to refund. They scammed my credit and cash. I asked Jason(african american) that I have 2 phones now, so need another number. He move me from pre-pay to post-pay. BUT, he did not tell me (intentionally) the bill for a 2 line plan will be $270 for the first month and $150+ after that. Thats a really BAD play: because Verizon and the store would be more profitable. 2 individual pre-pay is $80 total and 6GB data. And for post-pay is over 200 bucks and 5GB total. Within 24 hours I went back and said: this is not ethical! But that black guy said "You want switch back? Ok, but you will lose your first pre-pay money and still liable for 1 day post-pay charge then pay a new pre-pay to start " It took Jason 20 minutes for the card transaction. He talked up to me said. "Something wrong with our internal system. I try two different among but both did not go through. You need to pay cash with the kiosk" 2 days later, I realized both card transactions went through. So I went back ask them to reverse those. First an Asian guy looked into my info and said "It seem like you have 2 pre-pay line. You must paid for 2 numbers" I said: "Look, the other number is inactive. I only have one" Asian guy:"Whats ur proof of paying cash? I cant find it here. Show me the receipt" Me: "Whats ur proof that I use 2 line?" Asian:"I cant do anything about that. Once transactions are submitted, there are not way back." Me:"Last time the back guy said, card didnt go through. What really happened. How to explain my bank statement?" Jason:"……" Asian:"Call ur bank. We-Verizon cant do anything about it

I wish I could give these con artists 0 stars and file a lawsuit against them!! Be VERY careful when you talk to the sales representatives at this Verizon store. They trap you into buying accessories and keep telling to your face that it is a mandatory part of the promotional deal you are getting!!! I just got off the phone from the Verizon customer service. Here is the final verdict: YOU SHOULD NOT PAY A SINGLE PENNY WHEN ENROLLING TO THE EDGE PROGRAM, EXCEPT FOR MAYBE THE SALES TAX OF YOUR DEVICE. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO BUY ANY ACCESSORIES AS A PART OF THIS "DEAL". They are recently advocating the Edge program as an alternative to the 2 year contract: the sales reps do some back of the envelope calculations in front of you in order to show you that you save hundreds of $$$ by enrolling into the Edge program. THIS CALCULATION IS A SCAM! if you do the calculation carefully, the Edge program is only marginally better if you have 6GB data or higher. They do NOT include the $40 line access fee that you pay for 2 years, in addition to the $24.99 (or $29.16, depending the phone) monthly device payments. As a result, you apparently save several hundred dollars in 2 years! Then, they tell you that as a part of this promotional package, you have to buy $150 worth of accessories to get this DEAL!!! ... I do not understand why these thieves arent already all in jail. Please be careful. Please spread the word. Please educate yourself. Please do your research beforehand and make sure you understand everything these con artists tell you.

Called the store in the morning, asked about the availability of the IPhone4. They said they had it, asked the girl what would be the difference between me buying the iphone from the verizon store or the apple store, the girl on the phone told me that they know more about the verizon service than the apple store and they know a lot of about the iphone, also they have better deals on " bundle accessories" whatever that means .. so i went and saw her BIG MISTAKE!!. First bad presentation by her, 2nd the accessories she promised were not cheap and no discount, maybe like 5 % off. 3rd she knew nothing about the iphone kept telling me she had a HTC so she didn’t know, and all the questions i asked about verizon she said " ummm let me see, let me check let me this or that" If you need the iphone just go to apple and get a better buying experience.. i am very disappointed. I know customer service is difficult but please at least make an effort to learn your product.

I cannot put 0 star, so this is 1 ! I am from France and I came here to have a prepaid data sim card. I told them that I was from France and all seemed good for them. They try the sim card on my phone only after I paid it (its not the same with AT&T where they try it before !!). That didnt work. After lot of time with my phone (the guy looked my code and so used it without asking me to reseg some settings !!!!!), they said me that my phone (iPhone 6 !!) was NOT compatible ! And that they will bring my money back. It would be great.. But when we are tourist and we pay with credit card, the bank take some percentage ! So I have lost 5$ for nothing because my iPhone 6 is not compatible !!! It took only 5min in AT&T store to make me happy with there data plan (at the same price). Excuse me for my bad english, I am from France!

I got the worst service I have ever received here. The employees name was Abby and he was extremely rude and condescending. He refused to help me even look at phones because I did not want a smart phone and because my I am under my parents account, even though I am an adult. He was snide, he asked me where my parents were and in a condescending voice proclaimed he was sure my mom could pay for my smart phone. He then would not let me look at phones because "they were in the back in boxes and he would have to get them out" and then was completely unaccommodating when I asked about switching my contacts over. I was appalled at the terrible service he gave me and I left the store without a phone and extremely unhappy. The service Abby gave was 100% unacceptable and I would recommend not going to this store if you can help it.

Reading some of these reviews, I wonder which store these people visited. Great store, great service and support, excellent products. I have met many older customers at Verizon on Lake Ave in Pasadena. The younger staff is vibrant, intelligent, knows their products and customer needs. They are also able to explain in understandable language, in a patient way, how Verizon products function as well as recommend those products the customer might be interested in purchasing. There is a large potential customer base out there, that is older but interested in using and purchasing new technology. Thank you Verizon Pasadena for recognizing that and acting on it. Your workshops are getting better all the time. Thanks for helping me and others of my generation enter the 21st century in an educated and connected way.

Took in a non-responsive phone and found the customer service only slightly more responsive. In the morning, waited 25 minutes for an associate to press button on my phone and tell me it wasnt working and she couldnt fix or diagnose the problem. Then she made a sales pitch for the horrible EDGE deal. When I didnt jump at the chance to pay 3X the cost of my phone if I kept it for 2 years, she said "well, maybe you can try to fix it at home." I spent a few hours trying to fix the non-responsive phone and then went back. When I asked to see the manager, I was told it would be 5 minutes. Twenty minutes later, the manager gave me the same load of bunk and told me the SOFTWARE problem was caused by scratches on my screen and she couldnt do anything for me. I really wish verizon didnt have the best coverage network.
