So excited that Afters opened WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. AMAZE. PARKING: Street and small lot. By small, I mean like 3 cars. Dont worry, theres plenty of street parking. FOOD: -Milky bun: If this is your first time at afters, you must get the milky bun, Dont forget the toppings. Jasmine milk tea is a favorite for me, but I also like the cookie monster. You have the option of glazed or unglazed - probably better to opt for the less sugar. -Ice Cream: I ordered Jasmine Milk Tea with fruity pebbles. Ice cream was incredibly creamy, and it has this strange kind of bounce to it that I cant explain very well. $4 for a single scoop is a bit steep, so Id opt for the milky bun next time as theres so much more value for the extra $2 (not to mention each topping is an additional $0.50 with the ice cream alone!). SERVICE: The line moved pretty quickly, and people received their orders within 5 minutes. Pretty efficient! Its strange that their only door is the same door from which they take your order, so there were employees walking in and out to refill stock. Definitely a go-to weekend dessert!

Afters is definitely something everyone should try once. Beyond that, I definitely think its over-priced for what it is, and their ice cream flavors really arent anything special, but their Milky Bun really is a treat for the first time, and I dont think Ive ever seen anyone walk away unhappy after having one. That being said, I definitely think you should opt for just scoops of ice cream if youve had the milky bun before, its way more economically reasonable and the amount of ice cream you get really is a huge difference. Parking isnt that difficult around this area, but there isnt any designated parking lots or anything (other than a few spots right next to the stand), but the location and service is great. Something that everyone definitely should try at least once, but its a little pricey to be a "go-to" ice cream spot.

My two adult children wanted to stop at Afters on the way home from a memorial for their cousin. I got a scoop of churro my wife got a scoop of Jasmine milk tea my son got a milky bun and my daughter got a scoop of cookie butter. My churro ice cream tasted just like a churro but creamier. We also had our three nieces with us they got an assortment of flavors I cant remember but everybody enjoy the ice cream and had a good time. Their late cousin was a very creative person love food and desserts, Im sure he would have loved Afters. Picture is of their late cousin.

Cloyingly sweet flavors in a range catering to 12-year olds after a soccer game or drunk college students. I just took my family there and one had "churro" and two shared a "mint monster" and I had "acai blueberry." All were overly sweet and, at the same time, under flavored (sweet is not a flavor). Given all of the other options in the Pasadena area that use local, high-quality ingredients, well definitely be taking our business elsewhere. Another miss for that poor, cursed converted gas station on Green.

In a great place in Pasadena, on green street. Where all the most hip and delicious joints are! Afters takes the cake(or rather the milkybun) its fast! Its a little pricey. $6 for their games milkybun and a topping. The flavors are all amazing and the toppings while not unheard of are amazing. Especially the Afters flakes. Which are literally carmalized corn flakes! So freakin good! Plus the prices are flat, tax included. So the milkybun is $6 even after final sale.

The ice cream is extremely creamy and smooth, the correct chewy/silky texture of very fine ice crystals and a nice richness. The flavors, while creative and pleasing, are not deep or profound however. Gelato often exceeds this ice cream in quality, and the nearby Carmelas shop is a demonstration of how to do this better. Encouraging me to eat ice cream like a hamburger between sugar donuts is neither wise nor interesting, though some kudos for the creative gimmick.

Stopped by here because it was suggested by one of the people in our group. Its a nice little twist on dessert! Their signature is ice cream between thin donuts (either glazed or plain). Their flavors are fun too, with titles like "Cookie Monster", which is a bright blue ice cream. Theres very little seating and even less shade at this location, so this would be for a quick pit stop or pick up! Otherwise try one of their full size locations, if you have time

Got the Jasmine ice cream in a glazed milky bun with frosted flakes - it was good, bun was warm and fresh, ice cream good quality. At 11pm on a Friday, the line was about a 15 minute wait - outdoor only, its an ice cream stand not an indoor store. I did enjoy it, but I would only suggest going if youre in the area, I would not drive there from any distance (we came from Granada hills), its not worth that.

The milky bun tastes like a donut, but its more like a bun than a donut. I got the glazed bun with the cookie butter ice cream topped with oreo. I was surprised how warm the bun is when it comes out. I like the bun but not sure Ill get it again. The ice cream I had was good and would definitely come back again for that. Definitely worth a try if youre in the area.

So... much... sugar. But thats what you come here for. I wished they had more flavors, but the ones they offer are solid. I love coming here. Now and then, you can catch them when theyre not too busy. But this place is usually quite busy - a very good sign. They are in a historical landmark, so it is a unique space. Great for enjoying ice cream outdoors on a nice day.

You have to get their milky bun! Its so warm and perfect for ice cream. They offer a glazed and unglazed option for the buns. I also love all of the ice cream flavors and toppings that you can get. My favorite is getting one scoop Jasmine milk tea with one scoop Vietnamese coffee and top it off with Mochi!!

I only tried the ice cream. They allow you to do half scoops when ordering a single scoop, allowing you to try 2 flavors. Note that there is a $0.50 charge for a split scoop. Ice cream tasted pretty good, not spectacular. Felt like there was way too much food coloring in the ice cream.

It always has a line because people love it. They are expanding into a building next door. The flavors are fun and out of the ordinary. Seriously, the place has a line even when its cold outside. Sometimes I think they pay people to stand there in line to make it look more popular.

Ice Cream stand set up in an historical gas station. Tell me and feed me more. Nice selection of gimmicky but tasty flavors. You can get a milk bun with your ice cream which is a ice cream sandwich but with donuts instead. Yummmmm. Shun froyo and come to here instead.

This place has an interesting style to it. The menu could use a touch up as far as the ordering process is concerned. I got a glazed ice cream sandwich, churro flavored ice cream with cinnamon toast crunch cereal. It was really good but not worth 6 bucks.

Ice cream is good, got it with the glazed bun and it was too sweet. Next time Ill get it in a cup or cone. The line was short at 3pm on a weekday. The staff was friendly and we tried a few flavors before choosing açai blueberry and Vietnamese coffee.
