The Oxnard store is right across the street from our home, so it is very convenient and when our regular groomer was unavailable we decided to try it here. Last Wednesday was our first time at the Oxnard store to have our dog groomed. As we walked up to the counter you could hear the hairdryer was in use and with it being our dogs first time there he was nervous and was pulling back. The gentleman behind the counter picked up my dog, told me hour and a half and walked into the backroom with him. He did not talk to our dog or tried to comfort him. When I picked our dog up the groomer handed him to me and made a comment to the dog that he was glad to be getting out of there, but said nothing to me. I paid my bill at the cashier, who ran my credit card without ever looking up or saying anything to me. This is the first pet store and groomer that treated my dog and myself so coldly. I can forgive a poor haircut on our dog, but not when he is treated uncaring.

Everything is over priced. You can get it 1/2 off at Amazon. I went in to buy a travel sized bag of food for our long trip and when I took it up to the register she said it was a trial bag. I told her I would pay for it but she took it and threw it behind her and flat out told me no and was completely rude. If you need a type of food this shop has, look it up online. Youll save money and not have to deal with this woman.

Walked in for the first time and after browsing for about ten minutes I realised there was a good selection of seemingly quality dog food. Due to my dog having issues with eating certain foods I asked the only employee in view at the time if I could have one of the sample bags I noticed on display. She responded "I guess" and upon realising that she wasnt going to elaborate I immediately left without a sample.

Everytime I try to go here during the day theyre gone for 15 min it seems. And they constantly close early. Whats the point in having set hours if you arent going to be there during them? Very annoying. Unfortunately theyre one of only places around that have the dog food I buy otherwise Id never go here.
