I heard how great their cakes were and went in almost a week in advance to place my order for a simple half sheet. When it came to pick up (time and date given by the bakery) the cake was never made. I was told they tried to call but I never received any calls and no message was left. I was lucky enough for Albertsons to make me my cake on such short notice.

Bought $35 worth of pork ribs (not discounted) for a mountain trip without checking the sell-by date - they were the only ribs they had. They had expired 2 days earlier and smelled spoiled when I opened them. I cooked them anyway but they had to be thrown out. I also bought (non organic) broccoli for that meal which was so old and dried out it was inedible.

I find it amazing that you can go to a Walmart on the good side of town and Walmart on the bad side of town and their prices do change accordingly even if not too much. But this Vons is located in an Oildale and they seem to think that they are in Beverly Hills. Their selection is good, and our produce is fresh, but their prices are a bit High

I really like this store, the staff are the friendliest and most eager to help if any that Ive found at any grocery store. The store is always very neat and organized, and also fully stocked. Prices can get a bit expensive, even with Vons Club.

Not like other Vons or at least it didnt seem to have the same selection, it was more limited. Also its smaller so maybe that could be why. The employees arent friendly. Other than that the store was decent, it was clean and thats important.

Although this store does not carry as many items as larger stores it does carry the necessities and a bio beyond. I like that the store is very clean and everyone is very helpful with management being exceptionally helpful and friendly.

They have great deals if you go online to the just for you website. You can add all of the coupons and freebies to your membership card number or phone number, I saved 87.00 off of 126.00 grocery bill that way, so well worth the time!

Sad that this store lacks the goods,, like the coffee store & the marketplace.. just because its in oildale doesnt mean we lack style & good quality.. sucks that I have to drive across town to get a breakfast sandwich made..

Alcohol is too accessible to minors. Management would be wise to relocate hard liquor and secure it in locked display cases accessible only by employees. Just a thought considering North High is located just behind Vons.
