My neighbor is the owner friend. I came for a special preview of some book signing. Its really unique in its own way. Not too shabby for a bookstore compare to some. There are a section divided up and even have a kids room. Here youll see pre-used and new books, articles, periodicals etc. This is what Oakland really needs to revive the area. Best part is that theyre open on weekends, its located in downtown Oakland with hub for all transportation.

I brought an elderly woman to view the art exhibit today. After we viewed the artwork and she didnt have the energy to even look at any books, I had to leave my friend in the store while I got my car. The 2 lovely sales gals stayed with my friend in the store and then helped her into my car. Thank you so much!!!! Margie

I love being able to find really great kids books and to find or order great big people books, too. The new space on Broadway is gorgeous, and Im happy to support a local bookstore owned by a really community-committed person!

Where else can you buy books where the staff reads! If you cans find the book they will order it. It is amazing how many books are packed into the space. I always leave with many more books than I originally went in to buy.

l think this is my favorite bookstore in the world. They have a mix of used and new books and you can usually find what youre looking for. You can also sell your used books or turn them in for credit.
