If you value your car, GO ELSEWHERE. Granted my car is old, but my AC/Heater worked for 20 years - bought the car new and NEVER had an issue ever - yet AMAZINGLY when I got my car back, it no longer worked. Coincidence? Yea, well it just so happened that they were checking out a blinking airbag light and broken odometer that I made the mistake of asking them to look at. So CLEARLY they were in the general area doing their "diagnosis" - RIGHT? And to add insult to injury, they charged me a DIAGNOSIS FEE even though they knowingly had NO PARTS for either item! And what exactly were they diagnosing? I asked them to fix both because they WERENT WORKING. No joke. Oh, and they cracked my dash for good measure. When I asked the "advisor" Matt about this when dropping off my car a 2ND TIME for them to fix the AC/Heater that they broke, he just shrugged his shoulders and did his best to ignore thing - just pounding away on his computer as if he was hot the trail for a cure for cancer. I mean, I could tell what the outcome was going to be before anything was even done. Hell, Matt couldnt even be bothered to call me to tell me that my car was ready after telling me that the "TECH" denied he did anything to break my AC/Heater or crack my dash - which was a real shock. Matt said "he thought he called me". Dont worry Matt, I waited an extra day for you to take your well-deserved day so I could call YOU after your triumphant return. Folks - this service department is a complete and utter CLOWN SHOW. And whoever rights those sympathetic replies to many angry comments on here... SAVE IT. If you or anyone really gave a rip, youd address any and all issues while the customer was ON SITE and not after you read how angry that are and how they got the shaft and are now making an effort to WARN OTHERS. Again, save it...

Dropped my 04 Sport Trac off 07/02 for "The Works", basic maintenance stuff. Also requested a Power Steering Flush. Got a call a short time later reference a Thermostat housing leak. Need to replace and flush system etc. Gave them the ok. Expensive, but Its gotta be done. Told me it would be done 07/03. Waited til 4pm and got a call. Told them I would need a shuttle to get there. Waited 3 hours and no call, so I called them. Looks like I was forgotten about. Not good after spending 860 dollars with original estimate at 270. Thats not really the part that kinda got me upset. First off, Inside and out. Im meticulous about the cleanliness of the engine bay. After all the work was done, I noted the excess water/coolant in and around the areas checked. Air filter housing dirty and water stains. Battery, greasy and uncleansed, fan shroud dirty and oily same as power steering reservoir and surrounding areas. I always expect my vehicle back cleaner than it was received. These areas of concern could have had a slight bit of road dust prior to its arrival, but not like I had to clean after I received it back. I also believe it would be a good idea to instead of just advise how much is due when I arrive to pick up my vehicle, after spending more than 800 dollars, I think it would be fair to go over the invoice with the customer/me to itemize each cost and what was done. The old school invoice you use is hard to read as a customer and should jut be printed out in plain English as to what was purchased and the rate of Labor and how much labor was utilized to perform the service. Bottom line, I will be back, the service people are always nice and I believe my truck is in better mechanical condition than it was prior to its arrival. Just need some improvements on the areas noted. Thank you.

I recently went to Hemborg Ford to look at a used vehicle on 11/7/2013 in the evening. The sale associate was a larger bald headed altitude challenged male. We noticed that the vehicle has many problems (interior, exterior, and mechanical). We researched KBB values for the vehicle both for retail and trade in. This vehicle should be described as fair to poor condition which KBB does not expect to be on a dealership lot. We asked the sales associate to show us the invoice price so we could make a reasonable offer above invoice. When he provided the invoice price, it was doctored to the highest KBB trade in possible for the mileage. The car however did not match the condition that the sales associate claimed to be. Condition: -dash leather was torn -driver seat leather deteriorating -rear passenger door did not close properly due to small rear end accident that was not reported on Carfax -the interior pillars were coming apart -cigarette burns as well as a terrible smoking smell -exterior molding was half way ripped off -there were other moldings that were extremely worn and needed replacement -rotors were warped after it had been serviced by Hemborg Ford -oil deposits found around filler cap and general motor areas -they diluted the 50/50 to "75/50" according to the sales man (how do you put in 75/50?) -factory skid plate was missing We walked out after being lied to directly and recommend that anyone else does the same. I felt betrayed by the dealership and I feel that you should not be lied to either. AVOID HEMBORG OR YOU WILL BE THE SUCKER!!!

I am so frustrated today. Yesterday I took my truck in for a simple oil change and while I was there I decided to have my fuel filter replaced as well. Well after I waited 30 mins to get my truck after paying, they said it was being washed but wasnt, I went home and all seemed well. Then I got on the freeway and my truck started to make a funny noise. I picked up my friend who heard it too. The noise would stop when I hit the brakes or turned on a turn signal. So I called and they said bring it back. I told them I would be in, in the morning. Well last night when taking back redbox my truck was making that noise when I walked up to it, no key in the ignition, so I unplug the battery. This morning I took it in and since it isnt making the noise they cant fix it. I have been taking my truck here for 3 years and usually have very good experience. I wonder if they got new mechanics, if not it must be time for random drug tests because yesterday I heard a lady say when she pulled out her vehicle it was dinging at her and lights on her dash were coming on. I mean why do we go to Ford if they cant fix things right? I always use Ford so I can extend the life of my truck. If it isnt fixed I will have to call Corporate. Sometimes you have to go to the top to get results. I tried to handle it but I guess my husband will now.

THANKS FOR THE LEMON!!! DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE! Iam a struggling single parent and I purchased a used car from this dealership back in November 2016. I started having issues with the vehicle almost immediately. After driving the vehicle for two months, I noticed that the transmission was beginning to slip. So I called and asked to speak to someone regarding my newly purchased used SUV, and no one was available to take my call, so I left my number and never got a call back. Then after three more failed attempts I finally got a hold of someone who I could actually speak to me regarding my suvs issues, and he told me that it has been over 90 days and my car no longer has a warranty. I explained that had been trying but wasnt able to speak to ANYONE. He said SORRY and tried to end the call. I stopped him and continued to explain that I have only made 3 car payments and already my SUV needs MAJOR, MAJOR WORK DONE ON IT. The transmission ended up costing me $4000, and I no help or consideration regarding my situation. They only want to make the sale, even if its a peice of junk!!! So far Ive had to replace the transmission, the emissions valve, the battery and now the driver side door wont respond to the alarm system. I have to open and lock it with the key. AND I STILL OWE $11,000
