I purchased a battery at this location in 2010 and started having issues with it starting in mid 2011. After not being able to find my receipt i finally called in. They ran my # and had no record of the purchase and told me I was sol without receipt, issue persisted and o called back and spoke to a manager which asked more questions and seemed much more helpful, found out that the batt was only available at pepboys and told me to bring it in. That following day I went in and spoke to Art the service asst manager, he tested the batt, cleanned the terminals and even placed deterrent for the corrosion on the batt connectors at no charge thinking this was the issue (poor connection). Weeks later the car wouldnt start I brought it back and they replaced the batt and installed it for free. Now thats what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will continue to rely on pepboys for my vehicle service needs. Happy Customer as always at this location.

Although gentlemen at counter were nice the service/ wait time was poor. Went in for a tire change which turned out to be all four, I agreed, was told a 2 hour wait turned out to be over 3 hours. I had to cancel time with my granddaughter at Sante Fe park. No one came to me with an update, I kept having to check in and by the way no one at counter most of the time. I have used this Pepboys for service before and had same experience, I will not be a return customer. The guy that changed tires and did alignment worked very slow, I know as I observed his work ethic. Yup! HE GETS PAID BY THE HOUR....

dropped my car off 2 hours ago and they still hadnt run a diagnostic on my car, they seem careless and uninterested in helping you as a customer. and they took long for a minor issue that i already knew the reason why i needed service, but the guy insisted i had to pay $90 even if i knew what was wrong with it. I just felt no concern or care from employee and when i called to ask the status of my vehicle after waiting 2 hours he said he still hadnt gotten to it and he didnt even know.an estimate around the time they would be, a waste of time and i ended up taking my car elsewhere.

My sister lives 3 minutes from this Pep Boys on Huntington and took her car in to see what was wrong with it. They told her that her Ignition Coil was bad and that 2 of her spark plugs were not working. Turns out that she needed to take it to the Dealership for a posible recall for the ignition coil and they said there was NOTHING WRONG with the ignition coil which Pep Boys was going to charge her like $200.00 to replace it. Just goes to show that Automotive places still try to take advantage of single women!

They dont have all the basic tools for renting. Otherwise, for just shopping for auto supplies, not bad in comparison to other locations. They do seem to have more stuff in stocks and on the shelves. Cant speak for their auto repair service. Then again, if youre getting your car done their, dont think you care about young people listening to music loudly means less care and focus will go into your car. Trust is everything these days.

Honest really? I just had an oil change done by these guys and they had me totally convinced there was a mail-in rebate for the change. Shoulda read the form. No such rebate. 35 bucks down the tubes and I dont know whether to trust they even checked the transmission fluid. I think the PepBoys in Pasadena is far more professional. Better yet, go somewhere they actually document the work they did. Never going back there again.

Victor,(tire mngr) All he did was waste my time after he said to give him a minute..... he answer two phone calls and just ignore me. Then he started to help a female lady and that just did it. I was ready to slide my Amex for a new set of custom wheels and tires but never again will go to Monrovia Pep Boys or any other.

I have to say the boys have superb customer skills. Im very happy about the service I received. Thank you to all the boys that helped. Carlos, Jordan, Josh in Los Angeles and Che in Monrovia. You were quick and efficient in getting my issue taken care of. I found a new place for my car. Thank you once again.

Ive experienced pretty good service overall while in the store itself. However, after what occurred over the phone today, Ill never do business with Pep Boys again nor would I recommend anyone to call Pep Boys; not even in an emergency. And Ive been shopping at Pep Boys since 1969. Never again.

Ive been here twice in the past year, once for tire chains (for a winter trip to the mountains), and once to replace a burned-out headlight bulb. Both times, the staff were pleasant and helpful, but both times they were out of stock of the size I needed.

Very disappointing. Was told the service would be done in 1 1/2 to 2 hours. When I returned two hours later, my car had not even been touched yet. Clearly the customers time is of no concern to Pep Boys and for this reason, I will not be returning.

Hot water parts from Pep Boys one part was missing parts ticket back got another part that part was broken and they said they couldnt give me another one for a couple days or go to Pep Boys in La and pick it up high end up asking for my money back

Im not trying to be mean or bash on this pep boys because they really tried to help me out and were nice. Although, the people in the parts department that I dealt with had no idea what they were doing. I wont be using them again.

Went for smog came out with driver door needing repair. Worse part I took the car home and didnt notice till next day, call em and the sup says oh yea the acura yea we crashed the door. Should ve just used my regular smog tech.
