Michaels stores arent known for great quality things for fine art, but this place has a decent amount of selection. I am a frequent shopper at Blick Arts, so seeing the paint brushes and acrylic paints here make me sad... However, we were in the search for scrap booking materials and this particular location has aisles and aisles of the stuff; and they were all really cheap! We also went on their Black Friday sale when there were huge lines but the lines moved quickly, so it was definitely well managed.

Michaels: the place where you go to get 40% off a full-price item using the online coupons (bring it on your phone or print it out!). You can usually get a good deal here, often even better than Amazons prices, on arts and crafts materials. Its not the cleanest store in the world but everything is laid out pretty intuitively and in my experience the staff has been friendly and well-informed about any arts-related questions Ive had.

I took my daughter here to pick up some summer projects for us to work on on those hot days. They have a LOT of everything! I was also pleasantly surprised to find that in the back they do there own framing for very reasonable prices. I live in Monrovia and had been driving quite a ways every time I had a special photo/picture I needed framed. Michaels really does offer it all for your crafty needs.

A 2 because I love a craft store & its the only one close to me. One of my last visits there was so frustrating! They dont know what *terra cotta* is! I asked like 3 emoloyees were they moved them to since they had rearranged the store & no one knew what I was talking about. And the employees always seem busy & overwhelmed.

Now that Joanns has closed, Ive had to rely on Michaels for my craft supplies. I do like the selection, but prices are pretty high unless you use a coupon. Workers are friendly and helpful. This location is pretty big with a ton of inventory, so you can spend several hours here without getting tired.

The people working in the store keep made me feal like i was a suspected shop lifter, walking arond me and making sure i heard ther conversation about how the cameras are fix, i saw them on every row i was on, vary unwelcoming ! But the lady at the register was nice....

One of my favorite Michaels. Great service and well stocked in the papercrafts section which is why Im usually there for but all of there sections are well stocked too. Its on the small size but if it were any bigger Id probably spend all day there ;)

This place seems different everytime I walk in! Theres a good selection of art supplies as well as decorations. Line gets super long but the cashiers work very professionally.

Solid craft store with friendly staff. Not as organized as some Michaels locations, but is manageable and Ive definitely seen worse. Would recommend.
