Hi Professionals, for whatever it is worth, Id like to share my experience with Home Depot Milpitas Pro Desk in Milpitas on Great Mall Drive where I placed an order for delivery in Stockton. Various items from for a 4plex rehab : vanities, countertops, appliances, kitchen cabinets for 4 units, ... Delivery was supposed to be within 2 weeks => It took 3 weeks to start receiving items, with 3 of them damaged or broken => Another week to get the remainder => Personal trip to the store to pick replacements for the damaged goods => Kitchen cabinets shipping from the manufacturer arrived in Riverside CA instead of Stockton 5 weeks later => At this point I cancel the kitchen cabinets and got some delivered by a local vendor within 4 days because I was unable to plan he work without any accurate estimate from Home Depot => I am still trying to get refunded by Home Depot, about to pay interests on the Home Depot credit card => They want me to pay 40% of the price for restocking and do not take any responsibility on the fiasco Certainly an abnormaly bad experience, but clearly a demonstration that customer satisfaction is low on the priority list of this giant business. Lesson learnt : I would have been better hire a small crew to pick the cabinets in store, load a rental truck and organize everything myself. The 2 week leadtime announced was appealing and I decided to avoid doing it myself. The cost is time lost, and financial loss was certainly not worth it.

Home depot is just a very not responsible merchant. We ordered washer/ dryer & refrigerator. Whole process with salesman is fine. But when it comes to delivery and item defect. It is just down the drain. Home depot will not take responsibility of how the the delivery turns out. When we called to complaint. They will only take note and ask us to refuse the delivery. Fridge came dented first time. Second time was fine until they carry the fridge upstairs. They only send 2 people to carry the fridge ( poor guys trying so hard to carry up). Then they say we should have tell home depot to send more people. (They make our order 1st time and stated is to be carried to 2nd floor) why dont they copy the same order notes? As they carry the fridge up, they dented th door and did not mentioned anything. Then cause too much weight placed on 1 side of the fridge leg, it is severely bended. Despite the hard work to carry all the way up, i felt absolutely bad to ask them to return it. Until my husband took a look and was very unhappy about it. So we decided to refuse it again. They also made a huge and deep scratch on out wood flooring today. (Pics attached) Then communication from the delivery/ despatch company is horrible. No calls the day before and no 30mins call before arrival as promised. We are refusing all orders and get a refund. Too much time and effort when you pay over $4k for appliance and waited for 2weeks.

Never a knowledgable associate present. Understaffed. We were overcharged hundreds of dollars because of an associate mistake at the "self checkout". Management has not resolved this issue after numerous attempts on our part to rectify the situation. We gave them a copy of the receipt and asked them to review security footage ... We were charged for 10 FOOT rebar when we purchase 10 INCH rebar. As usual there were no open registers so we had to use the self checkout, there were no tags on the rebar so the associate entered it in... After waiting way too long we swiped our card and left. Called the next day and went in with receipt twice... Called again today and nobody knows about the issue. We literally spent thousands of dollars at this location- never received good service and feel completely taken advantage of. Do NOT support this location!

Tessy told us that our giftcard which is bought throug other store is not "legit" (straight and strong word) She said that they only accept giftcard bought at home depot. I told her so I cannot buy toyota in other dealer only at toyota dealer? So why are they selling it? I also told her that we have been doing this for many years. She insist and being rude. She called the manager and found out she is so stupid. She also blame other cashier because they accept our giftcard before. I hope she dont spread stupid rumor as they might believe her if so they are in trouble by believing an idiot who uses strong word with no knowledge what they are talking about. I always shop here because I fix houses and appliance but I guess I will not coming back.

We have been relying upon the advice of homedepot professionals for our yard planting, outdoor tools, bathroom and kitench remodeling. Their employees are very helpful, friendly and dedicated to the outstanding customer services. My wife and I are particularly impressed with Nick who gave us great advices on our outdoor tool purchases and landscaping. He is knowledgable on home depot products including plants, yard trimming tools and more importantly, can explain very well the pros and cons of available options. We appreciate they recommend special order items and notify us when they are available. Definitely, we will be back again soon.

POd enough to come here and write a review after yesterdays experience, because it is causing me havoc today. I spent 20+ minutes waiting near the pipe cutting machine in plumbing for promised help. Two more calls by the friendly staffer (good for 2 stars) who was trying to help produced no pipe machine operator (or any other plumbing help). Apparently, as the manager told me on the way out the door, the only person around who can operate it is also the only person around who could operate a forklift as well and was needed elsewhere.. They are understaffed. Period.

Never buy appliances here. I ordered washer 45 days ago and still havent received them . Store person forgot to order stacking kit during the order and had to wait 2 weeks for it. Sales person was not even willing to order the stacking kit. I had to call customer service and order it. And washer was damaged during delivery. Replacement washer was also damaged. Delivery team has no clue of what they are doing. Delivery team came two times to pickup washer that was already picked up. Worst experience in my life. Dont go to Home Depot, especially Milpitas store.

Generally Ive had good customer service experiences with this Home Depot, but I go because its a warehouse with lots of selections. If you know what you want, this is the place to go. Over the last 1-2 years, theyve made a huge effort to be more customer-friendly, offering DIY classes, push-buttons to call for service, but the culture still is that you go there if you pretty much already know what youre doing. The help is to provide additional help to experienced DIY-ers.

huge store with no way to find the part you need without wasting hours of searching perhaps you can spot a worker to ask for help ...but then you must also stop him from avoiding helping you. - to buy you have to wait in a long confused self-checkout line... as there are no cashiers I tried to find the Service Manager to see if the attention to customers could be upgraded ...but he couldnt be found...and no one seemed to care about that either...

I like that their website inventory is complete and accurate. What is posted on the website is the same the employees use. So I can shop before to go and I already know exactly how many items are on hand and exactly what isle and rack I can find it. Yea, the store is big but I am in and out quickly. I think that is cool. Dont bother the people. Let them stock shelves and keep things organized. Grab what you came for and get out. Thats what I do
