I never had such a bad experience at any grocery store like Im having one right now, its arrounf 8:10pm and I am standing on line for checkout and all of a sadden the cashier pulled a box right in front of me and said this line will be closed after the customer right in front of me just to mention there were only 3 customer a head of me so I said Im already in line and no one behind me so why cant you put the box right after me she was rood and helpless replied no Im closed again I politely ask well no where on this box says close you might need a better signage to present that you are close this is misleading all the customers again she said I dont have time Im close this box means close so its close. Im done shoping here you guys just lost a customer and I will never suggest anyone going there

Walked in to quickly pick up an item and the store smelled like a Home Depot, it had the smell of sawed wood...odd. Since I only had two items, I went to the Express Checkout, only I didnt save any time because the machine decided to error and I needed to find a store associate to clear the issue and proceed any further. This would usually be fine, only there was no Express Checkout associate to be found anywhere. When I was finally able to locate the guy, he essentially blamed me for putting one of the items in the bagging area before scanning. What? I clearly scanned the item BEFORE putting it in the bagging area; it even beeped when I did so. Seriously, get your self-checkout machines and personnel in order.

My favorite Safeway shop in the city. It carries all the bizarre-looking Martian-style flowers that I love so dearly, and its extremely affordable compared to the legion other flower shops in the neighborhood. I am feeling a little guilt lately about how far most flowers travel in order to get here and dress up my coffee table (flowers are lightweight so its cheaper just fly them in from China or Thailand or South America than to bother and grow them here, in paradise.) But if I ever find a good source of locally grown flowers, my heart might just get stolen away.

We came to this store to purchase birthday muffins for my daughter to bring to her school. The price is nice at $1 each for fresh one and they also have 9 for $6 for older ones. The staffs are friendly and helped me to find where the muffins are. The best thing is that we bought too many muffins and the manager approved the return of our extra muffins because they were still sealed and we returned in just a few hours.

The hours they posted were incorrect. They were supposed to be open until 9pm, but when I arrived at 8:05pm they were closed and refused to open their doors. God dammit! I had to buy formula for my baby. Worst staff attitude and complete lack of customer service. Who ever is running this location needs to get it together and control their store.

I just bought some flowers at this store and it seems like they are almost all dead. I guess I should of had there people put it together and maybe they would notice how bad they were. There was another vase with some nice flowers in it except for one flower was drooping over the edge. So everyone needs to be careful what you buy there.

Nice meat department employee, nice produce department employee. Then I got to the cashier, the only thing out of Candaces mouth was $55.15. Not hello, not did you find everything, have a nice day. I made sure I told her to have a nice day as I was shaking my head thinking what a good experience just made bad.

I have been going to this Milpitas Safeway for almost a year now, and I am surprised to say it won me over from Nob Hill. The store personnel are incredibly helpful and pleasant. It is enjoyable to shop here. Great selection, the place is clean, parking is easy easy, excellent service.

Herbert at Safeway flowers did such an amazing job for my wedding! I absolutely loved my centerpieces, bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, everything. I had told him my favorite flowers and peonies and he made sure to incorporate peonies into everything. Highly recommend :)

Local, organic produce available here. Normally Ive had bad luck with Safeway and organic produce, mainly not much of a selection but they have half a wall dedicated to it at this one. Many check out lines open on a Sunday and the cashier was actually friendly.

Stir Stick Stick

Very very very very very crowded!!! Must have been 50+ people who all headed to checkout at once and 3 cashiers. If you are in a hurry then go somewhere else. Still a good store with good quality food, and does not stink like Ocean Market down the street.

This is my favorite Safeway in the area. It has a great selection of everything and great prices. Anytime Ive come morning or midnight always friendly and helpful. They have a pharmacy and starbucks too. And I think a copy machine too.

They have great staff, lots of parking, and carry almost everything, even Vernors ginger ale (the BEST!). Staff is more than willing to help you find things, and their Deli counter has a huge range of choices.

Pretty good range of products, with delightful corners for fresh flowers, fresh meat, vegetables and bakery - the usual Safeway way. The prices are, as with any other Safeway, a tad too high.

Love this location but at 11:30pm they close the register down and make you wait until they open them back up whos brilliant idea is this they need to be slap with a 1" piece of pipe.

They have Neuro drinks, Dr Pepper in a glass bottle and Avitae caffeinated water all in the same isle. I normally have to go to 3 different places other than Safeway.

open 24/7. When pulling an all nighter its a great place to go and stock up on snacks and whatnot. Plus its really clean (its brand new - serving Milpitas since 2007!)

This place does get crowded after regular working hours, best to shop here before then if possible. The food is fresh for the most part and their selection isnt bad.

Very clean and cool. But no servicible motor chair for handicap folks. The only scooter you did have was "out of service" Fix it! Made it very hard on me to shop!!!

Huge inventory, nice location, great ambient and friendly staff. Limited parking as there are lots of shops in that area. Prices are higher that other places.

One of the nicer Safeway with a wide selection and clean environment. Also equipped with the self-checkout counters which speeds up the checkout.

Best part of Safeway is the wide selection, medium physical footprint - so you dont have to walk a mile for milk -, and the self checkout kiosks.

Parking is a problem and it takes over an hour to get in and out of the store. Too crowded all the time. Militias needs another grocery store.

The cash registers are very slow!!! I had to wait almost half an hour to buy just a few items. I wouldnt recommend it if you are in a rush.
