I came to this store for customer service assistance despite all of the bad reviews on here. I actually was VERY pleasantly surprised with the service and products I received so I had to write about it here. I have been a verizon customer for 10 years, have been to many verizon wireless stores and needless to say, I have never had the greatest of service while I was there. I have usually had to wait to be helped but when I walked into this store, I was helped right away!! I had the pleasure to work with Leonard and he walked me through all of my options. Leonard was very patient, professional and super informative. I have been a blackberry user for many years and I always thought I needed a keyboard. Well thanks to Leonards assistance and his thoroughness, I was able to learn that you dont need a keyboard anymore since most G4 phones have voice recognition software. Leonard also kindly explained the warranty program that I was under would not cover my phone since it had water damage so he saved me the time, money and hassle of trying to get my blackberry covered under warranty (even though the 800 customer service rep told me it would be covered). If I hadnt learned this from Leonard I would have had to pay $90 to cover the replacement of my poor, old blackberry since it was water damaged, but instead, I upgraded to a Droid Razr, which I absolutely LOVE!! I cant believe I waited so long to upgrade, but thanks to Leonards suggestion, I did and Im soooo happy!!! Once we figured out which product best suited my needs then he walked me through the Droid and showed me how to use the basic features. I was soo excited! Best part of all, I was able to charge my new Droid on to my next verizon bill so I walked out of the store having paid nothing at that time! :) Last but not least, a few days after I became a Droid owner I got a job interview that was to be held on skype! I had never used skype before and I was a bit intimidated about setting it up so I went back to the store and thankfully Leonard not only walked me through the set up, but also practiced skyping with me so I could be prepared for my interview. Now thats going above and beyond the call of duty! I love this store! Thank you Leonard for the amazing service you provided me! It literally has changed my life! P.S. I will make sure to send my friends and family over to see you when they are in need for a new phone! Keep up the amazing work!! Thanks again Leonard!

If I could give -8 stars I would. I was helped by a man named Oak who moved at the pace of and was as smart as a rock. He was more interested about what I did for a living and telling me who he met in the store then know what my problem was or fixing it. The for 30 min in the store was spent trying to get in to get a whole sentence out of his mouth about what my options were. I have a samsung galaxy S4 that just stopped working right at the beginning of the Super Bowl. So I messed with till 6:30 pacific time, figured it wasnt going to work and headed over to the store to miss the end of the game (or so i thought) Turned out they were playing the game at the store no one was paying attention to any customers. there were about 20 people in the store and all of them loped super irritated. When someone one finally came to help me I with they didnt. Worst waste of time and experience of my life with verizon. I just hope they can make up for it somehow in fixing the problem they have now stuck me with. Once I got Oak to tell me what I needed to do he abandoned me and so I roamed the store for a bit looking for him. He was never to be found so I left. I would call verizon and leave a complaint with them but...... OH YEAH, I DONT HAVE A PHONE STILL!!!

I recently visited Marina Del Rey Verizon store on Dec 26 to purchase a new phone, and I had the worst experience ever. The sales associate, Hector, was completely clueless about features on the new phones. He told me that my current car charger would work with the new phone I picked, but when I brought it home, I found it does not work. He also failed to mention (until I prodded him) that I would have to sign up for a more expensive plan with this new phone. I inquired about whether I could cancel my VZ Navigation, and he said yes he would cancel it, but he never did, so if I didnt check on it, I would be paying $10 a month for a useless service. And, to top it all off, he forgot to give me my receipt. I thought it was in the bag, but when I searched for it, it was not there, so I had to go all the way back to the store to get my receipt. Since I do not live in the area, this was EXTREMELY inconvenient!!! Maybe it was partially my fault for not looking in the bag for the receipt, but I just assumed that giving the customer a receipt is something that would be second nature to a sales rep. BIG mistake! Ill never go to this location ever again!!

Worst Customer Service Every! Bought my new phone the day before... $300+.. My phone kept dropping network so took it in and showed them. Im good with technology and this Guy Eric thinks hes so cool for working at a Verizon store he takes the phone and starts clicking away as if he knows what hes doing... I realize this guy doesnt know this phone but let him be to give him a chance. I have data on my phone I need and he reassures me everything will be on the SD card.. :/ Thing is, the phone doesnt have SD.. I tell him and he keeps reassuring me it will be fine. I stay quiet. Long story short, this monkey decides to wipe my phone clean and start over, losing all the data I NEEDED!! WTF YOU IDIOTS! DONT TOUCH SOMETHING IF YOU DONT KNOW WTF YOURE DOING! I was there for 2 hrs before I finally got a new phone and they stopped monkeying around! MFing useless!!!! Ill never use this Verizon store again... PLEASE TAKE THIS MESSAGE TO HEART! THESE PEOPLE ARE SIMPLY BUTTON PUSHERS WITHOUT A WORKING BRAINCELL!

I have been several times because this is the closest location to where I live in the marina. Now I have been driving all the way to Santa Monica or Hawthorne for help because the service was absolutely horrible. The workers at this store fool around and dont care to help. I found that I knew more about their service, plans and phones then they did! Absolute idiots at this location. Please, save yourself the time and drive to another location, or call 611 if you can for help. These guys are a joke. Overall I love Verizon Wireless too, which is why its so painful to go to this location and it figures its the closest one to where I live.... Ugh! OH, almost forgot. Last time I was in there, I had 2 employees talking to me about how to get hired where I work (sports store) because they didnt like their job. What kind of customer service do you get when you have employees asking their customers for help to get a new job!!
