This store is in a very popular location in Madera and is very convenient, but its not very big for a sporting goods store. They have a lot packed in here, things like exercise bicycles, corn hole games, and snow socks, water bottles, exercise equipment, camping gear and, of course, sporting goods. Prices are average and reasonable. Ive even seen some really good deals here during the holidays. The store is located between the Dollar Tree and Petco.

So....... I received a big 5 coupon for 20% off.. I was in Fresno close the a big 5 on shaw, but decided to go to the one in Madera instead, to aid the economy in my hometown. I went to the Madera big 5 looking to buy a nice shotgun. There was a lady behind the guns counter. When I ask for help she quickly interrupted me "just a second".

Its a typical Big 5, but they get 5 stars from me because we really needed something 5 minutes before they were supposed to close and the staff was so friendly about making sure we didnt feel rushed and found something that would work.

Clean store. Theirs so much stuff that it looks disorganized, but everything is in its place. Great outdoors store. Make sure to sign up to BIG 5 email, as you may occasionally get discount coupons to use on your next purchase.
