the main issue here is the loss prevention staff these people HAVE been trying lately but there seems too often some fubu jacktard who cant take a cue from REAL LAW enfrorcement on how to be respectful to people. there was one occasion when I was there with a nice black girl and this black loss prev idiot was threatening a suspect right next to me; when I corrected the ape he started running his trap- he was sloppily dressed and was begging to be dirtknapped. I have witnessed them being extremely loud and violent and yknow; alot of people in the area just want to buy some things and get going. there are ghetto chimps outsode selling drugs on their property and they act like they live there...more of an example of the non humans that inhabit california than a good store. the clerks (the ladies mainly) are nice and do the best job. the guys and the loss prevention staff seem like they hate their jobs and want YOU to suffer for it. grow up children.

Holy Christ on a Stick! The long lines normally would indicate a great store, but in this Rite Aids case, it indicates a complete disregard and incompetence on how to run a retail store. Long lines -- I mean, really long lines -- every single time. I cant fault the store for its clientele (which is a how-to guide on being threatening and crazy). I CAN (and do) fault them for allowing the entrance to their store to be an open air drug market. Mix that with the powerfully crazy people stalking you to sell their Vicodin and I say: "Thank God theres a Walgreens opening across the street." Free us from the tyranny that is Rite Aid at 5th & Broadway.

The pharmacy was incompetent and overcharged me, then I had to come back three separate times to get a refund because the right employee to issue it was never there. The entered my information in wrong, and even though they double checked it, they didnt notice until I asked for a printout and pointed out the incorrect information. Ive only had the one prescription filled by them, but Im immediately transferring my business to another pharmacy.

This store has the worst service. there is never more than one register open for check out that always has a long line. No matter what time of day you go it always the same. The cashiers barely greet the customers...they act as if it is painful for them to have to say hello to you. Walngreens on 7th street offers much better service and no long lines to stand in when checking out.

Really wish I could give this place 0 stars but the woman at the counter was extremely rude and really needs to learn a good lesson in customer service. I usually will chose rite aid over most other convenience stores however I would rather go to the 711 across the street than be treated with such a lack of service as I was here.

A Drug Store for the Druggies I am pretty sure no one who shops here is sober. Walking in here is like walking onto a live Hollywood movie set. Its like a horror game where the goal is to get thru the all the isles without getting biten by a zombie walker.

The service at this location is okay, at best. However, they do have an ice cream counter. One of the things I noticed was that the staff scooping the ice cream also works the register and do not wash their hands or use gloves.

I hate this ghetto rite aid. People are homeless, smell and/or are missing limbs. The people from the Alexandria pick up their meds and then proceed to sell them on the corner. I live on this corner. Stay classy, downtown.

Poor service. Not enough employees. Everything you want to buy is behind lock and key making it a huge hassle to shop here.

Black homeless people come in. I almost had to beat some meth heads ass. But security took care of him and saved his life.

The long lines give you a chance to really take in its sketchiness.
