I used to appreciate having this Rite Aid near me, until they GAVE AWAY MY PRESCRIPTION!! I refilled an order at 7 pm on a Thursday. My new insurance didnt cooperate at first, but I told them Id call in the morning and sort it out. Did that, called back, and they still had an error message when processing. No worries, Ill call my insurance again! Got special approval for Rite Aid to fill my script, called back and was told WE DONT HAVE THAT IN STOCK ANYMORE. How on EARTH does a Pharmacy give away a persons refill on a prescription that must be taken daily? I refilled it and was just sorting out my new insurance! But they GAVE IT AWAY to someone else. To add insult to injury, they directed me to another Rite Aid. Called them, they were out as well. Called a third. They were out. Called the 4th and was left on hold for over 10 minutes. Called BACK and finally after about an hour of wasted time, the 4th Rite Aid was finally able to fulfill the prescription that the FIRST Rite Aid GAVE AWAY!!! So instead of inconveniencing the person who arrived after they ran out, they gave my filled prescription away and gave me nothing but headaches and wasted time. Time is money, so Ill be careful how much money I funnel into Rite Aid. Go to Wallgreens. Rite Aid might have had a renovation, but the bones of the operation are obviously BROKEN.

I would give 0 stars if i could! They are completely unethical. My doctor faxed over a prescription for pain medication (which you are allowed to do now) almost a month ago. When I called to see if it was ready, the pharmacy said they were out of stock and more should be in Thursday. I called back Thursday, still out of stock, check next Thursday. I kept calling back and today they told me again, "Maybe next Thursday, maybe in a few weeks, it could be months." The woman on the phone who claimed to be the pharmacist said there were absolutely no pills in stock now. Finally I had my doctor call to transfer it to another pharmacy, and low and behold, they suddenly had it in stock! When I went to pick it up, (on crutches with a foot fracture,) I complained to the male pharmacist who said that it needed to be verified before filling it. They had almost a month to verify it with the doctor, it should have been done as soon as they received it and they out and out LIED each time saying they didnt have it in stock! Contacting the Better Business bureau about them. Also, the check-out person was awful in the main store, when I was checking out, it said click here to get an extra $2.00 off, before I had a chance, the check-out guy clicked ignore, so I lost out on the extra savings.

It is often impossible to get someone on the phone from the pharmacy. They are very busy and appear to be under-staffed. Forget running a quick errand to pick up your prescription during your lunch hour (the wait is long). To their credit, the pharmacist is a nice guy, but, again, the time it takes to call-in and/or pick up your medication is very time-consuming. Also, the store is open 24-hours. The pharmacy is not.

long lines and rude staff...so many complaints about the pharmacy because most of the workers there, especially in the day time, dont care but so many people go there that Rite Aid doesnt care because they are still making cash over fist! When you stop filling your prescriptions at this corrupt company then someone in charge might wake up!

Previous reviews of this Rite Aid are not wrong. While they have done some construction, remodeled the store, and increased their selection of goods, their customer service (especially in the pharmacy) is abysmal at best. Waste of time to go here. Theres another Rite Aid just down Sunset in Hollywood.

I had a positive experience walking in. To stock up on drugs in case my cold turns into nuclear annihilation mode. I will say I found their pricing to be high. But in my sickly stupor i would pay millions for some relief. Im fighting my illness with deep denial - I am well. Healthy is all I know

Pharmacist is courteous, nice, provide prompt response to customer service, control drugs diversion customers turn away for legitimate patients, 240 pills for Norco unopened package for 7 days as need! Thats great that she turn away that script so she can expedite legitimate medical urgency!

Same managers discouraging new employees .....same lazy take the time for mistakes on the "register" Man with beard goe tee mustache ....and lazy epitame redburgandy hair like perm short and snooty.. U ask for an i.d from me and not the i.d. of a minor trying to buy .....pissing poor job

Some of the worst customer service that I have dealt with. I was on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on. I had to call back several times and then ask for a manager to look for a single item which I found out they did not stock. Thanx Rite Aid!

Love this Rite Aide store BUT the pharmacy is worthless. Constant answer is "they are getting a shipment on Monday" even if you show up on Monday. Big chain pharmacies are an epic failure, dont waste your time here, go to local pharmacies.

When I call to check if a Rx is ready, (one of the options on the menu) they never answer the phone. It just kicks me back to the beginning of the recording. FRUSTRATING.

One stop shop, can buy anythi g from a fresh cup of coffee, cosmetics or prescriptions. Very clean & neat.
