David K Jewelers is a great place! My fiance and I were looking for an engagement ring setting and we stumbled upon Davids location in the Diamond District in Los Angeles. As many people know, or dont know, the Jewelery District has many many different jewelers with many many different rings and jewelry to choose from. There are so many that it is hard to choose one Jeweler from the next. I, however, was fortunate enough to stumble by Davids place. When I walked in to his place, I was warmly greeted by David himself. The first thing that I noticed was Davids warm and personable approach and demeanor. As a person who has been to many different jewelery places, and who has spoken to many different jewelers, I was accustomed to the "sneaky salesman" approach that many Jewelers are known for. David however, was the opposite. When I met David, I felt that he was more of friend giving me advice rather than someone trying to just make " a sale." Throughout the process of deciding on which ring to go with and how we wanted the ring to look, David helped us each step of the way. I told David what I was looking for and how I wanted the ring and diamonds to be, and he said that he could do it. While many people over promise and under deliver, David however, did just the opposite. He did everything he said that he could and would do, plus more. When I saw the custom ring that he made for us, I was blown away at how nice the ring looked. The craftmanship and details of the ring were superb. I really appreciated the time and effort that David put in to make sure that we received the ring that we wanted. I will definitely be back to David Ks for my own wedding band, and will refer him to my friends and family.

Several months ago my then girlfriend and I went to the jewlery center in Los Angeles looking for an engagement ring. We went into several stores, but couldnt find anyone who truly listened to what we were saying about the ring we wanted. They thought it was all about the "BIGGEST" diamonmd we could get for the money. We wanted excellent color, quality and cut, and we didnt want to drown ourselvs in debt to do it! We were begining to think we werent going to find what we wanted, then we walked into David K. Jewlers. We were pleased to find someone who really heard what we were saying! The truth is, we could have ended up with a very large diamond but one of very little quality. David spent a great deal of time educating us about diamonds,ie color, cut, quality, setting, band design, color of band material and allowed us the time to make up our own minds. Suggestions, yes pushy, NO. The experience was a pleasure. My fiance is unbelievably happy with the rings we purchased from David. Everything he said he would do, he did. We ended up with rings that are many times more beautiful than rings at much more than twice the cost!! I trust this man so much that I have ordered sight un seen, diamond stud ear rings that will be my fiances Christmas present. David told me what they would be and I trust his judgement completly. We purchased a wedding band for me at David K. Jewelers this summer after visiting several vendors in the Jewelry District of downtown Los Angeles. We were tipped off by a friend who had visited before and noticed a healthy selection of mens rings and found this to be very true. We were looking for a platinum ring with a relatively simple design and had grown weary of vendors giving us catalogs or assuring us they could do anything we wanted without showing us that they understood our design preferences (one vendor had lovely rings but didnt even know the basic terms we were using... big turn off). David was highly knowledgeable, patient and very invested in our satisfaction. We didnt expect him to carry more platinum rings, but we were impressed with the quality and variety of the designs he carried that could easily be recreated in platinum. He was very sensitive and helpful in discussions of weight, size, and patterns. I never felt I was being lectured as with other vendors, just taught how to appreciate the issues involved in my selection. Three other major compliments for him: (1) he not only let me try on many rings, but also modeled a few of them for me (I know, its amusing at first, but hes got it down well and its such a nice personal touch); (2) he delivered in a week with no hang-ups, surprises, or grief - I wish I could say the same for the place I bought her wedding band (ugh); (3) his price was excellent and the quality was extremely satisfying. Kudos to David K. Jewelers and his sincere, responsible, and professional way of doing business.

When looking for a prospective jeweler for an engagement ring, needless to say the entire ordeal of looking for someone to trust is incredibly tiring. After about a week of searching, I came across David and his shop (he runs it himself), and I was instantly stunned at the types of jewelery he was offering. He makes everything himself, and takes complete and utter care in crafting the types of jewelry that will be a part of that future someone forever. He helped me in designing not only something unique, but something special that I knew would mean a lot to my future wife. Not only that, but the prices he was quoting were unbelievable! (Seriously, I almost didnt believe it) David, I just wanted to tell you, I gave her the ring yesterday and she absolutely LOVED it (she said yes by the way)! She cant take her eyes off of what you took the time to make. Im almost jealous because she hasnt looked at me for a few hours now because she loves the ring so much haha. So thank you David in allowing me to present my now fiance with the perfect engagement ring. I doubt that there are other jewelers in your area that are as incredibly experienced and skilled as you, and I thank you everything youve done! Seriously, if youre looking for a ring for that special someone, you would be foolish to not give David at least an hour of your time. You have nothing to lose, and you will soon realize you have EVERYTHING to gain!

One Saturday afternoon, my fiance and I went downtown to look for an engagement ring (he was my boyfriend at the time). We parked in the bldg and rode the elevator up and just happened to be on with another couple. I asked if they knew where to go to get a good deal on a nice diamond and they said, "Yes. Where we are going." We followed them to David Ks and are so thrilled we did! We received the best service (they were nicer than the folks across the hall - since we had a VERY limited budget, the other folks did not want to work with us and passed us off to three different people!). David never blinked when we said how much we could afford to spend. He worked as hard for us as he would for someone with a lot more to spend. He found me the perfect diamond (Im near tears - happy tears - while writing this). He worked with us on the exact setting I wanted, he showed us the GIA form and the laser on the diamond - so I know I got exactly what I paid for... I should say, my fiance got exactly what he paid for! ;) We truly couldnt be happier with the experience and will definitely be back to get our wedding rings from David as well! Thank you David for making this somewhat stressful process as wonderful as it could ever be! You truly are The Best!
