In short, my wife and I had a great experience here and the dealerships follow-up has been excellent. I had been searching for a used car for over a month and had visited about 20 different dealerships to test drive and meet with dealers. Some of them were pretty shady and some were very pushy. I was not set on a certain make/model of car, though I had a few in mind. I was mostly concerned with getting a low milage vehicle with good gas milage at a good price. Eventually, I ran across a great deal on a 2010 Honda Fit Sport at Mac Auto and met with their dealer, Tigran. He was straight forward and honest about any issues he knew regarding the car and agreed to fix a few minor scratches we noticed while test driving. He also let us know they had a 30 day warranty if we noticed anything else the initial weeks owning the car. About a week into owning the car I realized the horn wasnt working, so I took it to Mac Auto and they determined it required a clock-spring replacement. Although it took a little time for the part to come in, they repaired it without any hassle for free. Both times I went in for the car to be repaired, Tigran was nice enough to chauffeur me out around town so I wasnt stuck just waiting at the dealership. I see some of these other reviews and I get the sense that some people dont know what to expect from a used car dealership. Most of these vehicles are bought at auctions. The dealerships do their best to diagnose any problems with them, but things will arise if you are driving these cars on a daily permanent basis that someone who test drives them for problems initially may not notice. The difference between a bad/good dealership is that a good one will repair those types of problems when they come up, and that is certainly what Mac Auto did for us. We did not get the sleazy used car-salesman pitch at any time while we were there, and we were not pressured or bullied into buy anything (none of the, "what can I do to get you to buy this car right now, today" I dealt with at several of the other places I visited earlier that month). After experiencing about 20 other places, I really have to say Mac Auto and Tigran treated us better than any of the other places and its why they got our sale.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD unless you like rude liars !!! Please dont even waist your money or time on this dealers , Tig was the one who sold me a 2007 Buick lacross with 40,000 miles on it which didnt sound to right at first but he assured me it was a good car , They speak a good talk when you first get there and when they want you to leave with a car from there dealers , When Im signing the contract they let me put 2 down payments only because they promised me something and couldnt fall through with it. They also lie about letting you use a loaner car if your car is going to take more then 4 hours. The same day I leave with my car the service Traction was on , I called and let them know they said theyll fix it for me. When I was signing my contract with Tig he told me even after the 30 day warranty they still work with you , Which was also a lie. The next day my car wouldnt start at all , I go get it checked and I was told it had electrical issues and the starter went out. I call and speak to Andrew and he assures me hell fix my starter but he assures me theres no way its a electrical issue. Ok so they come and get my car , bring it back 5 days later & my starter goes out again a week later , Not only that Im on the freeway and my car almost caught fire because of my ground wire , come to find out a lot of my wires in the car were DUCK TAPED together with BLACK TAPE.. Now Ive only had the car for 29 days I call Mac auto & the owner MARTY IS ALWAYSON A VACATION so I have to wait till he gets back so Im stuck with a car that I put 800$ toward while Im still on war into because they half ass fix things. They expected me to pay a 350$ car payment and a 250 insurance with a car that doesnt work. So there finance company SOL INSURANCE is harassing me and Im telling them the issues with my car they suggest I get my contract unwined. I talk to Marty 3 weeks later and my car still broke so Im paying for rentals & he tells me hes not fixing anything its my problem now & I need to stop calling and if I send a lawyer to him I can wait in line with everyone else . Im a few days late on my note & they repossessed my car. Now Im in the process of a civil suit because they sold me a Lemon to begin with.

Bought a BMWx5 that according to Andrew at the time the owners wife used to drive a little over a year ago, put $5000 down, had to fight to get them to replace two of 4 tires and replace window mechanism. Took to mechanic who said he believed no filters or fluids were EVER changed do to the black sludge he found in most areas. Front Axels went out, the third party warranty clearly says it covers them, yet they declined to cover it stating a terminology glitch to blame, I took it to Mac Auto and Andrew called the repfor the warranty saying he would "take care of it" and right in front of me told the guy not to cover it thinking I wasnt listening. Told him I would like to speak with the owner because he said the owner was "on vacation" and told me "I know the owner, he wont help you out". I had to pay out of pocket to repair those Axels despite having the car 1 year. Few weeks later the back passenger suspension bag blew, again not covered by the third party warranty. The radiator was leaking coolant and is cracked, not to mention the oil leaks and heater goes in and out. The third party warranty will not cover anything that has to do with damage caused by a lack of maintenance, and MAC never maintenanced the car then sold the warranty KNOWING that and purposely putting me in situations after situation of failure to unload a LEMON and not do a thing to hold up their end of the bargain. PLEASE do not make the mistake of ever going to this dealership. Theres a reason they are small time. These guys are scammers.

My family and I have done business with Mac Auto Sales for well over a decade and purchased many cars there. Mac used to be located on La habra Blvd; the current location is on Imperial and has the same great management. Marty, the owner, is fair and honest in his dealings and has always taken care of me and my family and that is why we refer many friends there. Mac Auto only has nice and clean vehicles. To my understanding, the owner still buys all of his inventory himself so he can maintain quality. If you ever run into an issue, Mac Auto will make it right because they are a local business and part of the community--that is why these guys are successful. Although I have never used financing there to purchase a car, my friends have and are happy with their rates. I also have a friend who was turned down somewhere else and Mac was able to work with him and get him a nice car. Thanks Mac Auto for always taking care of me and my friends!
