After I bought furniture from them, I read the reviews. Its true, they dont always answer the phone. You just have to get lucky. Took forever, then I had to chase down the delivery company. They charged over $600 for freight and that includes ONLY curbside delivery. I did not realize that the furniture would come fully assembled. So, naturally, it was a nightmare to get it in the house and one piece needs to be disassembled before putting it in the room. I mean, OBVIOUSLY, fully assembled Furniture is going to be a problem for most residences. Predictably, when I called, they said there was nothing they could do. The first question they asked was where I am located. I told them Maryland. Her response was to say that they are in California. Wow, just terrible. I think the furniture is pretty nice and I guess it wasnt too expensive but you get what you pay for. You have to also consider the cost of almost breaking your back in trying to move the furniture and having to pay someone to disassemble and reassemble it. Not to mention the aggravation in dealing with a company that doesnt answer their phones and really doesnt care at all about anything. As of now, the one piece of furniture is sitting in our foyer. The delivery guy was nice enough to help us bring it in the house and up the stairs. We paid him cash for that. But hes not really supposed to do that so this is our current situation: a mess in the front yard, and a desk sitting on its end in the middle of our foyer. But, hey, AMB got their money!!

Terrible customer service. They dont answer the phones. The phone doesnt even have a greeting saying its a business and no voicemail. They dont respond to emails. They dont do what they offer. I ordered a $2,000 table and chairs 2 months ago. The table wobbles by over 4" side-to-side. Made in China and cheap. No stability to the table or the design of the table at all. The chairs dont work and they wobble badly too. Havent been able to use the table and chairs for 2 months now. They offered to replace parts. No follow-up. They offered a discount for scratches and all the issues. No discount. I spent $2,000 on a useless table and chairs. Now I have to pay someone else to fix all this brand new stuff so it can be used. AMB Furniture is a small family-owned business to stay away from. They sell cheap furniture from China and they dont care about it once they got your money. They dont address issues with the furniture they sell even when it comes out of the box with serious structural issues. Buyer beware and avoid AMB Furniture!!!

If I have a suggestion I would recommend not to order online ,on the phone, or through a third party website from amb furniture and design which is partners with sears and uses there Web portal to sell there furniture. You place your order with them and they give a date which was well over a month for delivery, then your told when you call AMB furniture and design that it wont be for another week and we cant even give you a tracking number. They charge you 300 for shipping and take well over a month and half to send your order to you. Not very convenient, or customer service related at all , even when you ask to speak to manager you get the same answer there is nothing we can do to rush or give a discount . Atleast there on the same page with horrible service side of it .

What a mess. After picking up my furniture and unboxing it. I had two of the same side dresser sides. Called and got a replacement delivery, I waited all day for it and never called or made it. I Called next day and scheduled another delivery. Delivery arrived 4 hours after said delivery time and when he finally did arrive, my wife had the delivery person inbox and the same side piece of furniture was brought out that I had at home waiting for exchange. Go elsewhere and buy furniture or check the furniture you do buy upon pick up or delivery.

Tried ordering a $2000 Formal Dining set from website, website not very friendly (was down) Tried calling no phone on web site. Emailed them for a phone number finally got it, but they never called to see if I needed any customer service. Called 5 times just rang & rang, no answer and I could not leave a message for someone to call me back. Finally gave up, called a competitor they answer on the first ring an sent my Formal Dining set the next day (Shop Factory Direct) WOW BIG DIFFERENCE.

Do not order online from them. Its been almost a month and I receive no tracking information about my order and the customer service lady sounds like shed rather be anywhere else than helping me by answering my questions. Terrible service.

To state that AMB has poor customer service is a compliment. Three emails, not one response. Never again!
