best place for the price very well kept and clean we stayed 2 weeks before the end of the season in 2013. it was one of the best times i have ever had. we stayed here for a week with 4 adults 6 kids and we all enjoyed our selfs . in fact i dident want to leave. it was a lil taste of paradise. i would recommend every one to stay here. just a lil warning tho bring tons of fire wood if your gonna sleep in a tent. cause it does get a wee bit chili in the mornings but hey thats camping .p.s. i did have cell phone service depending on who your provider is there are water spigots around so you can get fresh water there are showers on site but the cost is a lil high 3 dollars for 10 mins and there out doors but in closed on all sides and the door does lock

This is by far one of the best campgrounds on the coast, the family that owns the store and the campground are extremely nice and helpful. The campgrounds are great. I used to go to Mendocino Campground until it went under new management where they nickel and dime you. Ocean Cove campground is flat rate per/vehicle with great sites. There are lots of abalone spots at the location and south (would be north, but currently off limits with State cutbacks). New campers - do not cut down trees for your firewood, this is private property, buy some wood please.

Awsome. We are making this a place a annual family vacation! The camp grounds were clean and grounds keeper made sure everyone followed the rules. The views were breath taking. Our kids were able to touch starfish and see other wild life. The fellow campers were very friendly - looking forward to seeing them again.

For a general store in the middle of nowhere, dont expect any fancy things. The typical cookies, nuts, beverages you would find at a gas station are here plus some canned goods to supplement your camping needs if you forgot something. Also, some fishing tackle for those that spin.

Owners boys are very rude and kicked our family out after we paid and set up our camp. They came to us and started to become aggressive off the bat. Said the camp was full and that we had to leave. This place needs better management. Much better camp sites in the area to go to.

Hidden Gem. Found this place by accident while riding my motorcycle up the pch. Wound up camping here many times after that. Great access to water , trails, nature.. and the owners were always super cool. Good memories from here and .. hope to get back soon *

The store is pretty good. It is little but has a lot of stuff. What I didnt like about the store is that it has too much of " Get-You-Drunk" stuff.

I had my honeymoon here and went down the coast hiway to santa barbra 4 her sisters wedding. I will always remember camping there. It is the best!
