I shop there occasionally for hardware and tools. Marys Peak True Value has one of the better selections of fasteners in the valley. This is important when you are looking for one of the less common sizes, or for a metric fastener. It is also one of the very few local sources for the 2-1/2 by 16 inch sanding belts that fit the old Skil small belt sander, Model 393.

I love this store! They rarely dont have the item I need, and often surprise me with what I didnt expect them to have, but on the of chance ask for it anyway. They also have a selection of household staple items (paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, t.p., etc) which saves the trek into Corvallis for those essentials that run out at the most inconvenient times.

Dont go here to have your car keys copied! They claim to be able to copy hi-tech keys, but when they copied a key for my 13-year-old car and it didnt work, they wouldnt give me a refund, ($25 for 1 key) even though I provided the key blank. Terrible service + high prices means I will be shopping at Home Depot from now on.

I am always impressed how they can have such a wide selection in such a small space. I have found the prices only slightly higher (but not always) than the big box store. Well worth saving the drive. Never had trouble with returns, including keys. Great folks! Great store!

They are always so friendly and helpful. They have helped me solve many household project questions. Not like the big stores where you have to walk a mile to find someone who can help you. It will be great when they have more space and can carry more things.
