Anyone who remembers the dim, slightly mysterious atmosphere of 1970s health food stores is sure to experience deja vu at Boont Berry Farm Store. No doubt about it, the wooden interior of this place is funky and unpretentious. Its a small store with a limited inventory, but a great boon (no pun intended) to anyone looking for an organic snack in Boonville. People seem to either get Boonville or not. They love it or they think its really weird. Blink your eyes on the road and youll pass through it without seeing it. I happen to think its a great spot on the map of California and enjoy stopping in at Boont Berry Farm Store when Im in the area. Youll find a small selection of basic natural staples and good organic produce. I had the best organic pear Ive eaten in over a year at Boont Berry Farm on my last visit. Youll find crackers, chips, packaged bulk foods and deli items. Staff is unassuming and polite and there are a couple of tables outside should you wish to hang about while you eat. Modern people have grown so accustomed to the sterile, glaring sameness of supermarkets. Were in danger of forgetting that there was life before Whole Foods and that the life was more unique and interesting. Hang in there, Boont Berry. We need the homely diversity you provide.

This is the best place to shop and eat in Boonville. Great food, friendly staff and customers. Outstanding local cheeses and produce. Fabulous deli and pastries. Many treasures, especially Burt and Kevin. Not a place for snooty types or those who are in a rush or dont like a little country funk.

Also open weekends 12-5pm. Great little deli and made-in-Boonville items such as Afterglow natural skin care. I like to get a plate of food and eat it at one of the little tables outside.
