My girlfriend first noticed this place one day when we were coming home and just got off the 5. She always wanted to try it but it was always out of the way or she wasnt in the mood for sweets at the time. Flash forward to now, weve been here AT LEAST 4 times and its a great place to check out when were in the area to get some food or groceries at Ranch 99. The space for this establishment is pretty dinky but fortunately its a dessert place with a pretty limited menu. Heres a breakdown of the items weve tried so far: Sweetie (4/5): Who would have thought a simple combo of plain soft serve drizzled with some honey on top would be so surprisingly delicious! Theres no fancy breakdown of flavors or stages that come out as the ice cream melts in your mouth, it just works! Honey Hot Tea (5/5): Out of the two honey teas, this one right here is THE one Ill go for 100% of the time, especially if youre feeling under the weather. The honey helps sooth your throat even if youre not coughing up a storm and the taste of honey isnt overwhelming. Id usually opt for black tea anything but this time, at least for this place, Ill always get the green tea. Honey Iced Tea (4/5): Not sure what to say here... I cant tell if the ice ruined the goodness of what I described for the Hot Tea, or the whole cinnamon stick just ruined the whole experience for me. Cookies & Cream Milkshake (3/5): My initial reaction to this was "Awesome! I love Cookies & Cream and I love me some ice cream, ILL LOVE THIS MILKSHAKE!" Things were great the first several sips but then I felt like the cream taste was overwhelming and ruined the rest of my sweet tooth addiction.

The portions were quite small for the price. The size is serving size is slightly smaller than that of a Starbucks tall. The base of the ice cream is not that great. The "true milk" base tasted a bit tarty and bland. The emphasis was suppose to be a balance of sweetness which was mostly from the syrup honey. I think the true milk tried to be like the vanilla base ice cream from Haagen Daz. All in all, I wouldnt go there again but it was worth the experience.

Ive been wanting to try Honeymee forever. Finally they opened a branch in Irvine. The milk ice cream was rich and creamy. Honeycomb is sweet and decadent. The ice cream and the honey is a perfect combination. Its a really delicious treat. Its a bit expensive for a small cup, but I would continue to indulge once in a while.

Special "pure milk" soft serve is awesome, not sugary. But the pure honey on top satisfies a sweet tooth. If you get the honeycomb, take it from me, dont try to chew and swallow. Its gross in your teeth (but swallowing is ok... But its just wax). Do suck on it though!

Really good ice cream. I love that the ice cream in itself is not sweet but really milky. We got the one with the hover comb and the chocolate one. The chocolate "dear" was very chocholaty, however, I was hoping the syrup to be thicker like a hot fudge.

Tasty sweets but a bit overpriced - I would do this once in a while but not on a regular basis. Generally too crowded all the time, so prepare to wait in line before getting your treat.

Its simple vanilla ice cream drizzled with honey. But the ice cream texture is none like I tasted before. Taste amazingly good. The location is tiny. Barely any seating inside.
