I was very unhappy after buying a Gateway computer. At first it worked fine, then my sd card drive just disappeared and I had to re install that, then my password which is correct decided that it would no longer work. I was on the phone for over 3 hours trying to get this worked out, first they wanted me to pay $129.00 for tech support to help me reset my password, crazy then they wanted me to pay for a disc that would format my hard drive and wipe out everything on it. After all the money I spent on this computer and its still under warranty they should at least have the decency to fix a password problem. I will never buy another gateway computer and encourage all of my family not too also.

I bought a gateway NE56R27u 4 months ago because I needed a laptop for my work and did not have much money. "WHAT A BIG MISTAKE" I NOW OWN A $400.00 DOLLAR PAPER WEIGHT. When people ask me about my laptop and ask me how I like it I tell them that it was a mistake and I regret buying it I am now saving up for a for a different laptop and it will NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! be a gateway, Take my advice gateway support does not and will not help you after you buy there product & if you buy a gateway you will regret it. after I buy another laptop I am going to throw this one in the trash, because its not worth $4.98 let alone the $400.00 dollars I spent on it on a scale of 1-10 I give it a BIG neg. 8

so tired of my problem being dealt with overseas people in India or where ever! After owning my notebook for a year, having a problem with the monitor coming on or windows loading whichever and your stupid tech people cant help, telling me I have a virus or whatever, there is NO virus. Trying to find a phone number for corporate was a major search and of coarse there is no 800 number to call. I will never ever buy Gateway products again, with social networking, you better believe Gateway will get blasted, its just a matter of time in this economy that Gateway have such a great rep. Horrible customer service!

Worst experience ever with CS and repair got a brand new laptop NV52L15u issue with the WIFI can turn it on, call 10 times finally they say to send it to Acer Repair center, top of that I have to pay shipping, I will never ever use this product , I will never recommend Gateway or Acer to anyone of my job Family, Friends and I will do my best to let plp know the kind product they have, also I will twit and Facebook about this horrible experience. thanks god for Internet so I can share this to others and dont make same mistake I made, better save money and buy another brand......

this gateway sucks, my laptop froze on me so i restarted it then it took me to a blue screen and asked me start it normal, then it asked me to restore, then i had to run errands and turned off my laptop, when i got home i turned it on and the laptop is running but the screen is black and on my laptop something in the left hand corner is suppose to blink but it did for 10 seconds then dissapeared,i wish gateway would give us free memory on our notebook laptops.

Speaking on behalf of a friend, she bought a gateway, and enabled the anti-theft for the monitor because she didnt want it to be usable if stolen. She recently had to reload her computer back to factory settings, and was unable to use her monitor after that. We have tried to aquire the eztune software to unlock the monitor, but tech support is HORRIBLE!!!! I recommend not buying from gatway.. Save yourself the headaches.

The worst equipment I have ever bought, it barely lasted 1 year. Their excuse for this? Saying technology changes so quickly so that the time it dies (they plan on it dying in a year) that we will want another computer. Pathetic.

Paid $1700 for an XHD3000. Like all other XHD3000s mine died shortly after the one year warranty expired and Gateway has washed their hands of all of us.
