SMS is my home away from home. Wayne and Sue are nice people. They are the kind of people that will stop what they are doing and spend some time and talk to you unlike other dealers I have dealt with. I have bought all my KTMs from them and when I need something done they are right there to put a new tire on or evan go to my place and pick up my bike to get it serviced for that next big ride. I have become friends with all the staff and we all have a great time when I drop in to talk shop or have a new tire installed on my dirt at a moments notice which I have done several times. I do know that I could save a few bucks by ordering parts online but that does not support the local economy and all those hard working folks at S.M.S. They can get anything I want in a moments notice, Sometimes it takes a little patience to get that special item. Most of know that its really impossible to have everything under the sun instock, Well maybe not all of us. Long live S.M.S. !!!!

The worst service I have ever had. I took my KTM 990 Adventure in for service because I was experiencing a flat spot between 5k and 6k. They attempted diagnostics and claimed there were no (error codes) problems. Then they took the bike for a test ride and confirmed my original complaint. They kept the bike for 10 days then told me there was nothing they could do and I would just have to "live with it." They suggested I sell the bike and buy a new one. Nice, they suggested I sell the problem to someone else and buy a new bike from them. I will never bring my bike to them again, I suggest you dont either.

SMS is a GREAT place to deal with. Wayne and Sue, the owners, are wonderful folks to deal with. The whole family rides so they know what they are talking about. They have Good gear and parts. A Klim dealer, some of the best gear made. They stock most everything you need. They are a family run business and treat you like that. A rarity in todays world. Plus, SMS puts on fun rides throughout the year. Scooters, Dual Sports, trail rides, street rides. Give these fine folks a chance. I promise you, you wont be disappointed. As a rider for over 46 years, this shop is the best.

I recently had a great buying experience at Sierra Motorsports in Grass Valley. I live 120 miles away so much of the negotiations and discussions were conducted via phone or email. When I showed up at the dealership in person, everything was as described. Jerry, the sales manager, and Sue, the owner, were genuinely kind and helpful. I got such an incredible deal on the Fly 50 scooter I was purchasing, that my wife and I actually bought two. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone thinking of purchasing a scooter, motorcycle or ATV.

Wayne and Sue at Sierra Motorsports welcomed me in with open arms. They are extremely supportive of the racing community and very knowledgable about bike set up. Now I buy everything from them including riding gear, Honda Parts, Lawnmowers. you name. Could not be happier with the service and support.

If you need a part, and expect to walk out with it in hand, this is probably not the right place for you. Both times I have gone here they offered ordering a part (fox shock seal and o-ring) for me so long as I could provide the make, model, and serial number of the machine.!!?? Heres a thought, if youre reading this, you already have internet and can order the part yourself...so why bother paying them to do it?

Bought myself a new street legal dirt bike. Service was great. Helpful staff, they helped me pick the right bike for my build and experience. Great financing was offered. They are limited on some accessories but thats expected for a small town. Had a great experience shopping with them. Didnt feel pressured, made a few visit before I made my final decision. I recommend them to anyone needing to buy a new bike.

SMS has always treated me well, and I have no complaint over what they charge for anything except tires (they dont really compete with internet / free shipping prices). Theyve competently mounted and balanced tires (that I provided) on my bike brands that I didnt buy there (bmw and yamaha) without complaint. Ive bought lots of accessories and apparel there. Im glad that they are my local dealer.

12 years and still my local shop. Family run shop by riders and racers. They host street and dual sport rides all year round. Plus pit at the off road races here in Nor Cal. Parts, Apparel, and prices are just right and they will find want need quickly. Being able to walk into the shop and get most parts is why I shop at SMS. Thank SMS for keeping my bikes on the road.

The two times I have dealt with SMS have both been very positive experiences! Both times were for the smallest and least expensive parts that had to be ordered from Honda. Both times the parts arrived promptly and I was treated as well as if I just bought a new bike from them. Friendly fast and a pleasure to deal with, Thank you!

This place is over priced and very slow. They are a bunch of young kids working in the back that over charge on maintenance and upgrades. I will never go here again and I suggest you dont either!
