I originally sent a vintage gold Porsche frame to an Optics company in Brooklyn, NY for repair. This company not only claimed to be an "Optics" company but also "Fast! What a horror story THAT turned out to be. Just by pure LUCK, I got to deal with "Becky S" at that company. After sending the frames in, I read their reviews. Okay.....my fault. I should have read the reviews FIRST and it appears from the reviews that "Becky S" is to the optics world what Al Capone was to the world of law! I got the frames back, although in worse condition then when I sent them in and they had NOT even worked on them even after giving me an estimate and me paying them! . I got a portion of my money back, but not all........yet. I have though, in all fairness, received MANY emails from Becky S, unfortunately all very negative and insulting. Therell be more on that issue later. I was referred to World Optic by an associate. I have safely shipped the frames and although the USPS has not updated the tracking, I am assuming they are safely in the hands of World Optic. Whether they can repair them is up to them. If so, great; if not, my loss but I am just hoping that their customer service is a great deal better than Becky S. Stay tuned and avoid Becky S at all costs! No Friend of Becky S

Last month I bought plastic frame eyeglasses knowing I could not wear them unless they had nose pads. The local shop I intended to take them to, closed. I thought I was stuck until I googled and found World Optic. Their customer reviews were so positive it allayed my doubts about mailing expensive frames to an unknown shop across the country. They provided a prepaid mailing label which made the entire process simple. In less than one week, I got my frames back and they sit on my nose perfectly. The workmanship exceeds that of the local shop I had used in the past. I know youre thinking - geesh you just had nose pads added whats the big deal? Well, it is a big deal when you are mailing out expensive frames with prescription lenses and you know they have to drill into the frame to set the nose pad posts. And besides, mail can get lost too, so there are myriad reasons to worry. So overall, a great experience with World Optic - I highly recommend them!

I was a little hesitant to send my sunglasses to a place via the mail that I didn’t know to get repaired in another state, but I looked up the address and it looked like a real company and since my very expensive sunglasses were broken and useless anyway, I took the risk. I’m very happy I did. They paid for shipping both way, fixed them in a few days and were mailing them back to me in short order. All for quite a bit less than I was quoted in my own town and I was going to have to drive across town to drop them off and go pick them up. Plus the local guys didn’t have the right color and couldn’t get the right color. World Optic is good, fast, reliable and a fair price. I couldn’t be more complimentary of them.

I give these guys 5 stars & 5 thumbs up they are wonderful people to deal with. They have an excellent sense of customer service and know how to treat their clients. They are wonderful in person and over the phone. THe employees there know what they are doing and go out of their way to resolve your needs and/or issues. Love them!

I just received my two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses back and they are like new! One had a broken lens and one has a broken side bar. They rebuilt it and fits perfect! They also included a 20% off my entire next purchase for apologizing for the delay. (not much of a delay) Its so nice and refreshing to have great customer service!!

I am so glad I fund this guys! My face is kind of Asian and my glasses didnt fit quite ok. Wold Optic and Mr. Omar Padilla put the nose pads on my glasses and now I am 100% happy with them and 100% happy with World Optic. They performed very fast that improvement on my glasses and two ways chipping was super-fast! Thank you Omar!
