This hardware store is literally packed to the rafters with goods. Need a new anvil or a number 2 tin washtub? Stuff to repair your fence or plumbing? A new geologists hammer? Theyve got it. This place feels like it came to life in the 1800s selling blacksmith tools, and has been trying to catch up ever since. They have just about any hardware you might need, but it may take some effort to actually find it... The staff is friendly and helpful, but you shouldnt wait around in an isle for help! Walk up to the counter and grab someones attention. Know what you want, because theyre busy and wont make much effort to answer a vague question. The prices are a bit high, but if anyplace in the Valley has it - these people will.

What a great store!. Its like going back in time to 40s or 50s. All they are missing is the potbelly stove and a cracker barrel. Dont take your significant other to the movies in River Park, take them here instead, it is far more interesting and enjoyable than the dribble produced by Hollywood. It has a wide range of tools, parts, and stuff (lots of stuff). If you cant find it ask the helpful and pleasant staff, most have been working there for years. The next time you leave you big box store disgusted by the staff (or lack there of) or quality of the no-named Chinese equivalent part come here instead, youll save yourself time and aggravation.

As said already, this place has everything you can think of. Sometimes they have even more than they know. I used to get REAL frustrated with different chain hardware stores all having pretty much the same things/sizes/types in stock. When you go to one big chain store and they dont have it dont go to the next big chain store, come here. Ive learned to come here first.

You will find obscure hardware you forgotten existed. Will always leave with something I didnt realize I needed until I saw one there. Last visit they didnt have what I needed, but spent some time looking in phone books for a local solution for me. Old School customer service is so hard to find, but here its the norm.

Why is this place rated so high? I walked in and said good morning to two older gentlemen behind the counter. They gave me a look and said nothing. Someone mentioned earlier in the reviews about this place being rude. Customer service is not present in this place.

Great ole fashion service, family owned and have everything you can think of. If they dont have it, they know who will. Dont waste your time at the big box stores!
