Kitchen remodeled through Home Depot, SLO, was fantastic!!! Rebecca in special services helped set appointments and timeline. Breese Construction of Los Osos made all their appointments from initial measurements to installation of cabinets, and reinstallation of appliances, including my new dishwasher I purchased from HD. Their workmanship was excellent! Measurements and cabinet design compiled by Rebecca were perfect! I love my new Woodmark Cabinets! Rebecca stressed having the countertop measured as soon as cabinets were installed--I did--and they were installed 3 weeks later. The next day, Jason Breese was back to install my appliances. I so appreciated the efforts of these professionals!!!

broght in a ryobi item for repair , they almost lost, follow-up was terrible, i had to call to find out what was going on with it, finally they called and said it had to be sent to another location for repair, two weeks later i recd a phone call asking why i havent picked it up yet. told them that no-one even told me it was ready, when i got it back it was replace with a different one that stated replaced due to known issue from factory, they should have called a long ago when they recd there memo stating there was a problem with these items, and possibly none of my issues would have come up, by the way 6 weeks to give me a replacement, poor service

1)When was the last time you entered a store and the store associates just stare at you, as if you are alien from a different planet? 2) When was the last time you have to beg for help at a store and the store associates, just ignore you, as if you are a beggar? Well if you want experience the above, then Home Depot in San Luis Obispo is the right place for you. I was fortunate enough to experience it, when I visited the store today i.e. 11/15/2011 around 16:30. By the way, thanks to Home Depot, I was forced to write my first review in my life. Kiran Gopana

I asked am employee to have 3 8ft outdoor shades taken to the front. After not getting helped for 45 minutes. He said I could carry them. I am disabled, legally blind and have loss of motor skills. Not anyones problem But I couldnt carry them by myself. He went all the way to the front of the store without carrying the curtains to get me a lumber cart which I could not maneuver. It was another customer that finally assisted me. Where has the customer-service gone? Where are all the cute butches? Seemingly replaced by sweaty, chubby maturing bald men.

I love Home Depot. The staff are always attentive and go the extra mile to help you find what you are looking for, even when it is very hard to find and it takes a while. I love that they hire people with disabilities, it puts a smile on my face to see them enjoying their job. I love the garden area for multiple reasons: ° the pot selection is nice °the hoses are good. (Love the 50ft good year heavy duty flex™ hose) °hose nozzles have good prices °nice selection for drought tolerant plants °great prices on potting soil (6 bags around $45)

Good selection, but the check out experience left a bad taste in my mouth: We were ready to purchase some shelves and had brought them to the front of the store where the registers are, but the service reps were talking with each other, seemed to notice us, and did nothing to signal assistance. No one was in line, so we stood at the register where the three reps were, but one of the women took initiative and helped us at a different register.

Thank god this store isnt owned by a bunch of hypocritical left wing nut jobs like many other crap stores are. Love Home Depot, honest, hard working employees (at least most are, some are lazy whiners whom hate hard work) Too bad this place has to deal with a bunch of selfish illegal alien trash hanging out some of its stores. Illegals dont care they are taking work from legal decent hard working citizens that obey the law.

Went to purchase redwood fence boards and artificial turf. They were completely out of the fence boards, and the self-proclaimed "resident expert" on turf, when asked what the differences were between their offerings, just read off what was already on the packaging and then told me to go online to learn more. If I had wanted to shop for turf online, I wouldnt be standing here touching the turf! Utter waste of time.

Takes forever to get a hold of someone about already purchased product from order, not knowledgeable on delivery or installs. I will never return to this particular home dept! Ive gone round and round with trying to get a product delivered and installed ALREADY paid for- for two weeks! And They have lost information. DO NOT do any over the phone transactions or online with this particular branch. Go to lowes!

Justin in Window Treatments is one of the hardest working, most customer pleasing employees around. He spent a good deal of time reviewing affordable products and options for my window blinds. I called him a number of times to get tracking numbers and delivery times, as well as, add-on to my original order. He made sure that I got the best product and service at the lowest price.

The associates at this store are mostly helpful. Every now and then youll get the employee who passes by you while you have a perplexed look on your face, wont bother to say hi or ask if I need help. The store is laid out well and they have 2 free electric car charging stations outside in front! The self checkout is actually quicker and easier than using the normal checkout lines.

Though you can tell theres some newer people that havent found their footing, this store is backed up by a great crew of seasoned professionals that have spent time out in the trades. I was very impressed at the help I was given even though it was close to closing, they still took the time to make sure I had everything I needed without making me feel rushed.

Kudos to the staff. An online order delivered to the store was a disaster but only because of the shipping company HD uses. The HD staff in store were helpful in fixing the situation. Got the items returned and refunded, and picked out new replacement items in the store that same day. They even offered to drive the items to my house at no charge, same day.

I shop at the store at least once a week. In general the associates are helpful and friendly. Several of the associates are outstanding, including Mike in Electrical. I appreciate the easy return policy as I often purchase extra items when Im unsure of all my needs for a project. I find the store indispensable.

We placed an order for pavers and decided they would not work. Karl @ the SLO store really went out of his way to help us out and make the exchange really painless. It is now easy to find help in the aisles. Home depot has made noticeable changes in their service culture.

Workers here are friendly and ready to help out. Paint department could use better management, but they provide you with what you request. They always seem to be out of propane, and lumber supply is decent. Parking for large vehicles or work trucks is difficult.

The owners of this chain store support a right wing political and social agenda of cutting taxes for the rich, spending more on our military and cutting social programs and blaming immigrants for societal ills. I have stopped shopping here because of this.
