I always go here for my needs on ramen & japanese food ingredients. Every morning when they open I come and get some onigiri because they only sell limited amounts and they are so good that they get sold immediately, especially the Salmon & Tuna-Mayo. Some are a bit on the high on prices, but most you cant find elsewhere. Its very convenient as my husband is Japanese and my kids love the food, so I stop by here every other morning to pick up my ingredients and cook daily food. Its like a local japanese market, they are closed on Mondays though, but its great.

Yaoya-San is one of my favorite Japanese grocery store in East Bay. Its a smaller store packed with produce, meat, seafood and other Japanese groceries imported from Japan. Prices are reasonable and most of all I love the bento boxes they get from Daily Zen Bento in San Francisco. Their bentos are much better than that of other Japanese grocery stores in Bay Area. Staff are always helpful and super nice.

Nice mom and pop Japanese Mini Market. Friendly, clean, many items from dinner ingredients to candy. Small produce section, small fish and meat section, lots of frozen things. Lots of condiments and spices.

Go to Japanese store open 7 days unlike that other place. Japanese essentials at a reasonable price. Nice location beside Japanese dollar store. Stock up!
