After having to return to this place 4+ times for issues with my glasses, I must say, Id rather have my corneas burned than recommend this place to anyone. After I put a deposit down on a pair or Urband eyeglasses and frames, walking out of Site For Sore Eyes, I felt like Id been car shopping -- having to haggle and wrestle my way to get a decent price on some easily locatable commodity with some snakey salesperson. I am no eyeglass expert. I dont know much about frames, lenses, astigmatism or anything about indices or the construction of lenses. After several screw ups by these people, I had to educate myself more than I would have liked. I must admit, my horrible experience was partly my fault, not having researched more on a $600 out-of-pocket investment. HOWEVER-- AS A VENDOR AND BUSINESS, IT IS THEIR JOB TO EDUCATE THE BUYER AND MAKE THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT ABOUT THEIR PURCHASE... or maybe Im asking too much. Star treatment? I dont think so. Im not buying a pack of gum or some video game for $50. This is a pretty penny and as a business who sells something, ESPECIALLY doctors or health services, they should be EDUCATING their buyer, or at the least, letting them know what they are spending $600 on by fully disclosing options, rather than making the MOST EXPENSIVE OPTIONS THE MOST ATTRACTIVE. I guess this is what happens when you work on commission. RETURN 1: They got my prescription wrong. Very wrong. Initially they told me my eyes had to get used to the new prescription. Fine, I wore them for a week. Headaches and blurry vision at work. Awesome. They made me drive home, pick up my old glasses (which I could see perfectly out of) and measured the lenses to duplicate the prescription on my new glasses... WHY DID I PAY FOR AN EYE EXAM FOR?! ALL YOU DID WAS COPY MY OLD PRESCRIPTION BECAUSE YOU COULDNT GET IT RIGHT ON YOUR OWN! RETURN 2: Them: "Do you want thin lenses? Your prescription is pretty high." Me: "I do." Them: "High Index is what you want, theyre thinner than the other lenses." Me: "OK. Is that all they are? Thinner?" Them: "Yes." CRACK. The lens chips after one day after setting them down on a granite counter. WTF? I called and asked if there was a manufacturer warranty on the lenses. Person on the phone says yes, and to bring the glasses in. After explaining to them what happened, they tried to accuse me of abusing the frames. Nice. I told them Id been doing some research and found out polycarbonate was stronger and shatter resistant. I asked them why I wasnt offered the option on such a thin frame, as its usually recommended for frameless, half frame or super thin frames. They told me I didnt ask. Really? I didnt ask? You should have disclosed that information to me so I would have made an educated decision. All these people are worried about is making money and selling the most expensive pair of glasses they can. After arguing with them, they tell me that there is NO MANUFACTURER warranty on the lenses and they would have to pay out of their pocket to get them fixed, and they should charge me, but they didnt. Also, one person told me that polycarbonate was cheaper, and after arguing with the manager that I wanted polycarbonate at a cheaper price, he said there were no refunds. NO REFUNDS? THE LENS IS CHEAPER! I dont care if its coming out of your pocket, you ALL MESSED UP, from the optometrist, to the sales person, to the other salesman who told me that there was a manufacturer warranty and that polycarbonate was cheaper. This place is an all around failure. They dont know much about glasses. They miscommunicate. Theyre hard to understand. They dont know their policies. They have horrible customer service. Avoid at all cost.

I wish not to give this place even 1 star. This is the worst place and these people cheat you with very cheap frames & glasses and rob you off your insurance. They lure you saying that they can combine the insurances of the other family members and give you $20 cheap frame & charge the insurance for $400. They are cheaters and liars. I will not recommend this place to anyone at all. Feel like spitting at them and very disappointed that now I have to spend another $150 to buy a new frame elsewhere.

This location has always been very helpful and accommodating for all my concerns and have even gone above and beyond at times by staying past open hours to make sure I get my contacts or even give me free trials until my new order arrives . They also replaced my ray ban frame set for free when I discovered a defect within the first 30 days with no hassles or questions . This staff is Great ! Keep up the good work !

I started going to this store a year ago to get my glasses done. Ever since I have been very satisfied. Very recently, I damaged one of my lenses, I went to store and was treated very professionally. The staff at Site for Sore Eyes in Dublin is extremely accommodating and very helpful with solving any issues you might have concerning your eyewear. I bought my glasses over 10 months ago and just started wearing them and noticed a flaw from the manufacturer in the lenses. They replaced both lenses and are now perfect. Great place. Buy your glasses from here for sure.

I went to the Dublin location. Excellent and very knowledgable staff made it for a very pleasant experience. They also had a great selection of frames! The place is big and airy. It was super easy and fast. Normally, this is a tortuous procedure that takes days, not anymore.

This has been one of my better experience ces at an optometrist. I was in and out in a quick manner with great precision. All associates are extremely helpful and courteous. Selection of glasses ranges from as cheap as they come to your more expensive brands like Oakley.
