Good: The doctor I saw (Dr. Mac) was pleasant. He almost made it worth coming back... Bad: the office policies are ridiculous. I bought a pair of glasses there for some $300 out of my pocket after my vision insurance, and when I brought them home, I realized they were not as flattering to my face as theyd looked in the store. I called the very next day and asked to return them, and they said they have a no-return policy on frames. Are you kidding me?? Ive never heard of that policy before and dont remember anyone there warning me that there were no returns. Pretty sure they do that on purpose. Furthermore, they did not adjust the glasses to my eyes AT ALL when I went in (as in, they make me dizzy/sick if I wear them longer than a few minutes). At the time I found out they would not return/exchange the frames, I asked about this and they told me I could "come in whenever" to get them adjusted. Since they were ugly, I never bothered. But now, some 10 months later, I decide that since my budget doesnt warrant another $300 on glasses right now (I just bought a computer) and my eyes have been bothering me, I should just wear them anyway. I called and asked them to be adjusted, and they tell me they dont do that after 6 months of the appointment... when they never bothered to do it correctly in the first place and it was their fault. Now I cant wear the glasses they gave me, I cant afford new ones, and am pretty much stuck. Forget this place. Go somewhere (anywhere) else.

Dr. Slater does a great job with the eye exam, he takes time to discuss my vision concerns and explains everything he is doing in detail. The optometry shop has an excellent selection of frames and sunglasses and the staff are friendly and provide great follow-up service like cleanings and adjustments.

When it comes to ocular health Dr Slaters office cant be beat. I have been going to this office for over five years. I Love the staff, the Doctors are great, and the frame selection is first class. Such a pleasant experience every time. These guys are AWESOME!!!!!!!!
