Ive been going to see Dr Beede and Dr Shiroishi for a number of years now. After a number of years of looking for an eye doctor who was thorough and competent, I was quite pleased to discover Dr Beede. He takes the time to listen to what Ive got to say, and hes willing to do the work to get my eyes to reveal their true needs. The staff is top notch, and professional. One of my favorite reasons for the strong rating is that I dont suffer the endless up sell for some designer frames at this office. Prior to Dr Beede, I cant recall the last optometrist I saw that didnt try to convince me to buy some ungodly expensive frame because some celebrity had a name on it. I They are willing to work within my limitations, and are more than willing to find ways to make it a sound transaction.

What a refreshing change from the scummy eye shops of Russian Brooklyn I used to frequent. ALLEN L. BEEDE, O.D. & LISA Y. SHIROISHI, O.D. was an eye-opening experience .Dr. Irina has awesome patient service skills and her staff is very friendly. Many a family walked in here on Sunday, many of them babied, with all of these babies getting ogled and played with.It was fun, even for a dude.
