Me and my wife were loyal customers for almost 7 years. We bought at least $6K worth of glasses from them and regularly do our eye exams here. Referred 3 guys to them just in 2016 alone. I purchased my third Gold & Wood frame here in the late 2013. ($995 or so + lenses). A month later the wood broke and the frame had to be replaced. I got the new one a month later and it broke again after two months. I requested a different frame model, but Tiffanny told me they were not able to give me the new model and ordered another replacement again. She assured me they would replace the frame if it breaks again. So the frame broke again in the same place yesterday. I called and explained Anna everything and stopped by their office in the evening. Anna was really busy and told me to wait. Waited for 20 minutes and no one even looked at me, while they had people just browsing their PCs so I left. They did not even bother to call me. Had to call again today and Anna told me manufacturer wont honor the warranty anymore and that they cannot do anything, so my $1000 frame and $600 prescription lenses are useless. Anna told me that Tiffany had left and they cannot follow on her previous promises. Its unfortunate, but we wont come again, I think Id get a better service even at Walmart. Way to go, optical illusions!

My experience at Optical Illusions was one of the best Ive had in eye exam and choosing glasses. Dr. Steiner was very thorough in the exam and explained everything in detail to me which I really appreciated. Anna helped with the selection of glasses, which as some may know, its stressful to pick out glasses! She was great with suggestions and very patient with me as I tried a few different pairs on. The selection of glasses is amazing! Best Ive ever seen. Dr. Steiner and Anna never made me feel rushed or like they had to hurry to get to the next patient. Excellent experience overall.

Nice Sunglasses but a bit to fussy for me. Went in to purchase an upscale pair of sunglasses. I expect a higher end experience in the stores at Santana Row but this one takes it a bit far. The sunglasses I chose were nice (Persol) but the process to buying here is a little convoluted. They have to create a file for you as if you were a prescription glass buyer. These are just regular sunglasses, it shouldnt take 15 minutes just to "ring them up"! On the whole, its a beautiful shop with a good selection of eyewear. Just too much work to buy.

Great service! Cant wait to come back with my prescription and get some awesome glasses. They explained the insurance reimbursement well and took a look at my VS P plan. They even tightened my BFs glasses and we got a free soda for checking in. They have a large variety of glasses and if you have a low prescription, your lenses are probably included.

Been going to Optical Illusions for over 25 years. I started to see Dr. Steiner when I was in college. He takes his time to make sure your eyes are 100% correct. I now take my kids to see him. Best eye glass frame selection in the west coast. Affordable, professional and customer service are their strengths.

I really like this store and the staff is friendly. An employee named Ray went out of his way to figure out an insurance question for me and called me the same day to give me an answer. My prescription sunglasses were ready much sooner than I expected.
