I strongly recommend Performance Bicycle! I had a great experience on 5/21/2015 thus. My son had a bike he rides to school daily. Somehow he said the bike was getting hard to pedal in the morning. I called two bike stores near home, both of them required at least 1-2 day service time. I called Performance Bicycle in the afternoon around 4pm. The tech Elliott answered phone, told me to bring over, if it needed small tuning, he could do it right away. I went. Elliott was able to check it quickly, found that only basic tuning was needed. Within 10-15 minutes, he was able to tune the bike, lubricate the bike chains. When I was ready to pay, he said its free as the tuning did not cost any parts. My son was really happy his bike was back running smoothly! We were so impressed and happy with Elliotts service. Great job and thank you!!

Dont give you attention/ ask for help, rude on the phone, they said my bike would take under a week to fix once the part goes in. It took a week so I called, they said part is still being shipped. I said ok. They said they have all my contact info and will call me once its ready. I called again after OVER 2 weeks, 20 minutes before they were open so I could be in time to pick it up for opening since I wanted it in the morning. They were rude on the phone and repidetly told me they were closed. They arent open yet and I still have no idea where my bike is. I will come back to this place to get my bike fixed because I like giving second chances to my experiences. (April fools, you guys are amazing) (^^)

The hours posted for business are incorrect. They are open Monday thru Friday 10-8, SUNDAY IS ACTUALLY 10-7pm and Sunday 10-6. Saturday was reduced by one hour. Please call or check the window placard posted at the door. Otherwise, excellent service. On Tuesdays from 12pm- 2pm(Lunchtime Shop and Save) you can save 10% off anything that is NOT a bike. Basically, what that means is just accessories, clothing, shoes, nutrition Etc,. Unfortunately, it cant be combined with other discounts. Its good on sale and non-sale gear, etc as well. Its a great way too save mid-week when youre riding a lot.

Very unprofessional behavior. I called ahead of time to check if they will fix a flat bike tire. They said yes. I drove 20 mins. to get to them, then they tell me they will only replace the tube. Charge 6$ for tube and 10$ for installation. They dont patch. For any other service, they made me feel they were doing me a big favor. I am not going there again. I like Mikes Bikes in pleasanton way much better service and courtesy wise.

Great shop! I purchased two bikes here, the second one about a year after the first, and they are both working out well. Good range of stock, with some custom PB products as well, competitive pricing, especially with PB membership and points back, and great staff. Also nice place to get the bike worked on.
