Daaang this place exceeded expectations Just a little grocery shop in the middle of nowhere. Closes Sunday and all holidays. Its hard to visit this place unless you really try. Whod knew itd be worth a visit? The kimchi fried rice you see in all the yelp photos are Real! And, its as tasty as it looks, maybe even more. You can see them cook that stuff fresh off the stove right when you order it--the kimchi sour flavor fits very well with the rice. The wetness of the kimchi balances out of the usual dryness of fried rice. The egg on top is just extra goodness, especially when you crack the yolk and the yellow-egginess oozes onto the rice. The fact that the portion is so big, only means the good just keeps on coming. Definitely worth a drive to try some of that good stuff.

I was kinda disappointed with this place. Ive heard a lot of great things about this korean restaurant and it just wasnt up there for me. Their jap chae was good, but its really hard to mess that up so I dont give them that much credit. The kimchi fried rice and bulgogi were also mediocre. I feel that they could have marinated the bulgogi a little better. They both tasted good, but not as great as others claim. Their tofu soup was good but the broth wasnt up to par. Its also spicy for those that are not about that life. I dont think Ill be coming back here. Im a bigger fan of Kukje market and its only 5 minutes away. Bart Grocery does have affordable prices though. They also have very limited seating so be prepared to take it to go!

A convenient store that sells Korean food? Yes, it sounds like a weird combo but somehow it works (and is very clean)! Half of the store is converted to an open kitchen where your order is freshly cooked in front of you. Their menu consists of the basic standard dishes such as tofu stew and kimchi fried rice at affordable prices. +1 for their Spicy Pork and Kimchee fried rice - both were very flavorful. The location is a few blocks up from the Daly City bart station on a random side street from the main road - Id come more often if I lived closer! Friendly owners and Id recommend ordering from here if you are craving some korean food that wont make a huge dent in your wallet! Call ahead so you can avoid the lines.

While Barts is basically a neighborhood mom and pop convenience store, they have a Korean takeout area that you can order Korean food that is better than some sit down Korean restaurants. Portions and quality are great for what they charge. Located up the street from the Daly City BART station. Although there is no metered street parking, parking can be tricky because the store is in a residential neighborhood. I have gone out of my way to drive here to get my Korean food fix. My trio of sure bets are Kim Chee Fried Rice, Bibimbap or Spicy Pork.

BIG portions for cheap. Yes, its in a grocery store, so dont have your first date here! There are two tables: one plastic and one wooden Take your pick. And theres a TV! I ordered the kimchi fried rice ($6.75) and my friend had the bulgolgi beef plate ($9.95). Both were really good, and portions were huge. We had to take some food home. I would come back forsure and order a plate, because for a few bucks more, you get a salad, some japchae (tastes amaaazing), rice, and meat!

My hubby brought home food for us here. Portions are decent and price is very reasonable. The Kim chi fried rice is really good and pretty spicy. The spicy chicken was tender, but not too spicy. The kalbi was really good. Great flavors and you get a decent amount for the price. The tofu soup was only ok. It had a lot of tofu, dumplings, and mushrooms, but it had more of a sour and very spicy taste. Not a fan of that.

The prices are a little high almost like eating in a restaurant but their portions are enormous. Decent price for drinks sodas Etc. The owners who are the chefs are really friendly and busy.

Got the beef bulgogi plate here. Came with salad and the rice noodles thingy. It was really well marinated and delicious. This spot is hidden in and I would have never noticed this place if my friend didnt tell me about this place. Definitely worth trying it out. Im gonna come back next time for the Kimchi fried rice.

Their Korean food is so tasty and homemade. Its my go to place if I want just a plate of Korean BBQ over rice and noodles. Plus its a little grocery store with a good selection of drinks and side snacks to choose from.
