I bought a sport coat here a couple of weeks ago on the weekend before a business trip. The salesman told me to come back on a weekday after my trip and theyd do an adjustment on the sleeve length. From the time I put on the sport coat on my trip, I didnt like it - it just didnt hang, feel or look like a $500 sport coat should. So I bring it back today - thinking Id just get the sleeves adjusted when I noticed that it had a least two places where the thread was coming unraveled. Even though Ive bought many things at Nordstroms over the years, Ive never returned anything and I started to think maybe I should ask to exchange this coat - after all Nordstroms is legendary for their customer service - right? I was met with a woman who seemed to be in charge in the mens department. When I told her about my dissatisfaction with the sport coat, she gave me a very dismissive - "Well youd be the first one ever to think (brandname) was not the very best quality - this is a beautiful coat - her tone and demeanor clearly communicating that you just dont have good taste. When I pointed out the thread coming apart she rushed the coat back to the tailor and said shed find the salesman - I literally couldnt get a word in edgewise. When my sales guy eventually showed up (after 10 minutes of standing there awkwardly) he and she spoke briefly and he started talking about the thread that had come loose. I told him I had come back to get the sleeves adjusted but that I was also very unhappy with the coat. He seemed really busy with another customer and either didnt hear about my dissatisfaction or decided to ignore it. He got the tailor to mark the sleeves and then rushed back to his other customer. So I guess Im getting the coat back in a week (7 days to shorten 2 sleeves!) and Ill have to keep it for wearing with blue jeans - its not anything I want to wear at a work event again. I will not be back to shop here ever again and as for Norstroms legendary service it was nowhere to be seen in my experience.

I went to return two items that were incorrectly given to me by Nordstrom employees over two separate visits (a problem in itself) and to pick up an online order. There was no line and 3 sales associates standing around, the smug sales associate that helped me (Aria) said she could take the clothing return but I have to go to ANOTHER line to return the cosmetics and then I have to go to ANOTHER line after that to go pick up the order. Never mind that there are sales people standing around all over doing nothing. Basically they send the customer running around the store to different departments to do different things because theyd rather make the customers work rather than their employees. Between the 3 people I encountered at the concierge desk, the 1 woman in the cosmetics department, the group of 4 employees in the accessories department who had to direct me to the order pickup area because theres no sign, and the 2 employees at the order pickup area thats a total of 10 EMPLOYEES that I had to interact with just to get what I needed done (a return and an order pick-up). If Nordstroms intention is to deter people from shopping here then theyve definitely accomplished their goal. Theres really no point in shopping under the Nordstrom brand because they sure as hell arent offering any sort of customer service or convenience. I can happily go to Sephora for cosmetics and shop online for clothes from other companies delivered to my door with hassle free returns, without having to waste time and gas driving to a brick and mortar Nordstrom store to run around like I work for them while their actual employees stand around with nothing to do.

Store employees in the mens section are very snobby and lazy. Went in to buy a $300 Helmut Lang shirt and had to ask over 4 employees for help. 3 were "busy" socializing and one didnt even offer to assist when he saw I was in need of a dressing room. Just stood there looking at me from the register. I finally found a salesperson to let me try it on and ring me up after 10 minutes of searching. I will definitely not go to this location again. The clothes are great but the employees are not trained to be friendly and helpful.

I was here in early August of 2014, they need to carry Large Tall shirts in the high end designer fashions. I just moved here from Tampa Florida and they had the same issue. Once I brought it to a managers attention (The store manager in writing and in person), they began ordering large and XL Tall shirts, gathered the names of hundred male customers and a few months later they had a great selection, and I get a phone call every 3 months inviting me in. I hope this Nordstroms can step up

They have the stuff I need and buy however as other people pointed out the customer service is lacking.i either l work retail and I get it - I dress and look vaguely sketchy. However I dont need a cuck looming over me while Im shopping nor do I need to get scoffed at for asking basic questions. "no we dont carry that" > walk 2 feet and find it. So yeah, be sure to dress like you belong in the store.

Come on this is Nordstrom. Always great products that reflect superior taste for the meticulous shopper. The employees in the mens shoe department were helpful and friendly. Mens clothing department I cant say the same. The store was a bit messy; I noticed a lot of small trash around on the floor which did surprise me. If I could give 3 1/2 I would.... Not very busy on our last visit.

Terrible customer service in Customer service Department. I ordered some items on line when it shows available and pick-up in store confirmation. But a few hours later, the order is "cancelled -customer request". It is ridiculous lie, because I did not cancel it . Nordstrom is the very worst customer service department store. The agents are lazy and lie to customers.

One of the worst pedicures Ive ever had. The lady cut my skin when trying to trim my nails. I have extra polish all over my toes. To make it even worse the three pedicurist were complaining how tried they were to each other and they were so glad they were off tomorrow. So much for a relaxing pedicure.

Very lovely store. I love going to Nordstrom and checking out their sales. It is pricey to shop here but you get great service. Its clean and well staffed. I never had a hard time getting help and theres so much stuff I want to buy there just wished my wallet was bigger.

Pretty standard Nordstrom. Despite the remodeling going on everything was clean. My wife did like the nursing lounge, but unfortunately I was not allowed in. Other places handle that better with family rooms, so dad can be there as well and help.

Its very nice, I am visit Nordstrom every weekend, its elegant high quality, clean, well no words to describe this beautiful place. If you came from different state, visit all fancy stores. The South Coast Plaza.
