The Cadillac of Dollar Stores! Dont go in with your heart set on something specific—the stock varies a lot—but I always go here before my usual grocery store, because the deals are so good and you never know what youll find for just a dollar...boxes of berries, bags of peaches, "baby" carrots, cilantro, organic greens, Progresso soup, english muffins, granola bars, bags of potatoes, etc., etc. Saunter through all the aisles; you never know when youll strike gold. IMPORTANT TIP: produce is delivered Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, so go on those days to get the freshest choices...often, by Monday, only the saddest bruised bits of produce will remain. Its not Whole Foods, by any means—sometimes theyre a bit late removing products that are past their prime, a few of the carts dont roll right, and it may take them a while to clean up a spill—but the price more than makes up for it. Its my favorite place to go on a shopping spree...because I get the all fun of shopping without the "buyers remorse" when I see the total! The people who work there are often a bit harried (you dont run a successful dollar store by over-hiring, after all), but theyre usually friendly back if you are friendly with them. Smile, make their day a bit easier, and theyll likely do the same for you!

Early this morning, was shopping for necessary items, about 20 to 30 minutes a staff from the 99 cent store told me to be evicted, for stealing something . I was trippin-out and, told the guy are u sure was me....? He stated another staff saw u, I stated, yeah right....prove it...Stated u got to leaved. So, I left. In truth, I didnt stole anything from that store or, from any businesses. They will see some matter in Court of LAW. Been here from the Hawaiian Islands for two years, in fact without any relapse. Just completed 23 years in Hawaii system, why would I steal anything just from 99 cents items...They much be kidding me...Plus, I lived here and, why would I mess around in our community that I loved this small town. I liked to rate that 99 cent store no score, but to get posted I had to score one, bustered

Just got back home from shopping my local 99 Cent Store and was actually a bit shocked and let down a little. They recently over hauled the stores insides and moved everything around. To me this remodel has made things more difficult to find, heck even when asking an employe where something was, they didnt have a clue! The store was clean and tidy and the employees were friendly, but tonight their product location skills were least to be desired. But it wont stop me from continuing to shop there!

Lines are always long, but at least staff are friendly. Isles are organised, but customers are inconsiderate so they are always wrecked. Produce is always on the edge of turning. Cold/refrigerated items are good. Plenty of snacks, sugar treats, soda, sweet drink mixes and dollar wines to go around. Vagrants wander the isles attempting to shoplift, so staff are regularly busy watching for theives and other troublemakers. Still, staff are smiling through it all and always friendly.

Horrible horrible horrible! Store is always dirty. Employees are rude and incompitent! As I stood in line to check out, I listened to one checker tell another checker about cons customers try and what to look out for IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS! It was SO inappropriate its not even funny. There obviously is no management or customer service standards. Curious how this place stays in business!

Cashiers are pretty fast. A few are friendly. One woman who has worked there for a long time with dark hair and a mustache is so rude to customers. A friend of hers was in front of me and she was SO sweet to the woman. Then it was my turn and her face went right back to rock hard cold robot. Sad. I was wondering if it was just me or was she like that to everyone...

Just bought a drink for my kid from this store and it has been expired since January of this year. I have never had to check on anything at this store. But will have to from here on out. The cashier that was helping me thought that it would be OK to be on her phone while I was getting checked out. Not ok.

I actually really like this store and visit somewhat regularly. They have a wide selection of little things you could need around the house. Some of it is even cheaper, but same quality, as bigger stores. IE: a bag of 100 zip ties is a buck here, versus three to four dollars at Wal-Mart.

As usual,they are trying to save money by not having the AC on. Same thing last year. Great deals, horrible shopping experience. I thought about leaving my cart of stuff and leaving it was so bad. Also some crazy person ( common here) screaming nonsense n the produce area.

I will have to add a picture next time, I keep forgetting but this place is good, especially for a 99 cent store. Its pretty clean and most of the clerks are nice. They usually have a lot of good fresh produce. Its a good idea to come here before hitting your maimstream store.

One of my favorites in Sacramento. Clean, well stocked, an adequate number of employees for the business they get. This store seems to get some of the better quality items and rarely are they selling foodstuff that is obviously spoiled. No bags of moldy zucchini here.

I love this store with 1 exception one of the security officers follows me thru the entire store which make me feel very uncomfortable and I personally have never stolen anything from anyone or any store. My contiouns wont let me. Thats just the way God built me

The name itself means inexpensive and cheap items so do not expect the highest quality. It is a good place to buy small items that will work for oneself. We bought inexpensive handsoap that lasted for 6months. They have cool and good items too.

This 99 Cent Only Store is one of the better ones. I love that it is neat and has a small alcohol selection and produce selection. Sometimes it has name brand products such as Lunchables. This store is great for some everyday items.

This is the nicest 99 cents Store, because its so nice and clean and everything is in order, and when you go in there you can actually find things pretty quickly, and the staff theyre nice people very kind. I love this store...

Loved loved loved coming here, however one employee is rude as ever. I went in three separate times and one of the workers was extremely rude and sadly incompetent of doing her job. Worst store in Sacramento that Ive been to.

The stuff is really good. The customer service isnt very great, their kind of rude and when its busy only 2 registers are opened, they seem to care only about their time not the guests time. Its okay they need to do better.

Gotta say--this 99 cent store has became my best friend when I cant get around to doing my regular food shopping. Funny..I usually go in for 2-3 things and walk out with 4-5 bags. Huge variety of things
