Im a Monterey area businessman with a lifelong lust for Rolex watches. I was introduced to Fourtane by a lady friend who drug me in "just to look around". Ive heard those words before, usually before my VISA is exercised. Not really interested nor expecting much I was astounded by the immense selection of Rolexes from the most current to well aged. I had certainly not intended to upgrade my faithful,l albeit 20 year old, Day Date (President) but, after being shown the new 40mm Rose Gold by Audrey I was smitten. Not one to make impulse decisions on a 40k jewelry piece I left, returned home and then straight to eBay. After extensive shopping of the aptly named Black Market Rolex watches all over eBay it became clear that doing business with a factory authorized dealer was the only way to be fully protected from fraud or receiving stolen goods etc.. So back to Audrey at Fourtanes I went. After some polite but serious negotiations I was able to trade in my dear friend 36mm yellow gold President at a fair price and wear home a brand new 40mm Rose Gold President with two extra lengths courtesy of "Da Boss. Now I feel like Im part of the Fourtane family and am dealing with friends. Im saving up my SS stipends so I can score a platinum model. Audrey has been there for long enough to answer all my questions fully and honestly. Way to go Fourtanes Sincerely, JHR

Several years ago, on a lark, I took some family watches to Antiques Roadshow to be appraised. This was the first time Antiques Road Show had been filmed in Eugene, Oregon. One of the watches was a Rolex given to my father by his mother in 1942. Dad had enlisted in the Air Force and grandmother chose the Rolex made for the Army Air Force. Joshua Bonifas was the appraiser. He not only provided an appraisal he and his family have gone to great lengths to keep my fathers watch running and on my now 96 year old mothers wrist. This has included world-wide searches for parts. Joshua and his family understood the importance of continuing to use the watch as it was intended. Other people in the Rolex business had said it should not be worn, but put away. That watch was with my dad throughout his service including the last few months of the war when he was deployed to Saipan to fly the first bombing runs over Tokyo. On one of those runs his pilot had to make a forced landing in the Pacific. Dad, his watch and about a third of the crew came through alive. Dad continued to wear the watch up until he died in 1990. My Mom has continued to wear it since that time. The Fletcher family will always be grateful to Joshua and his family. They went beyond and above what anyone could expect.

Terrible experience. I am a 10 year local, I am very patient, and this was my second attempt to do business with this company. They are extremely rude and condescending; acting as if they are supremacists in the industry. They practically refused to fulfill their obligations as a Rolex dealer in providing me with necessary parts and information for one of my numerous Rolex timepieces. Their pathetic selection and diversity of Rolex watches does not merit your time or attention. I write this review to forewarn any person anticipating outstanding service and selection. This company undoubtedly belittles Rolex’s prestigious name and reputation, degrading the quality of Rolex’s unparalleled service. I can assure any potential client that you will be overcharged and poorly treated. Henceforth I have ordered an Audemars Piquet from another Carmel store (which I will not mention) and needless to say, I was treated very respectfully, the sales persons were excited to tend to my every question and concerns while simultaneously fulfilling their responsibilities as diligent dealers. Simply put, Fourtane is awful.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had purchasing a new Rolex. This is my 3rd Rolex, and the 1st Rolex from Fourtanes. A delightful young lady named Audrey, was my purchasing guide. I was pretty sure what model I wanted this time but she went out of her way to make sure this was the right watch for me. She patiently showed several versions of the watch I ultimately did purchase. She is quite knowledgable about the calibers and features of each. I never felt pressured to buy, she was only concerned with making sure everything went smoothly. Side note, they have a neat store dog, named Elliot, very friendly. This is the 2nd watch I have purchased from them about 15 or so years ago, I purchased a pre owned Omega. Same great experience Update, the new watch has a glitch in it, but they totally stand behind their products, they ordered me a brand new Rolex to be mailed to my home, and gave me the tool needed to adjust the bracelet. They apparently have one goal, customer satisfaction. I will be a customer for life.

I have been doing business with Fourtanes for 10 years now and I have never dealt with a jeweler that has consistently treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. Sometimes they are very busy but they always make it a point to acknowledge me. It is not often that you can find that special jeweler that you can put all of your trust. Their knowledge of Rolex is unparalleled. I have never seen a more extensive selection of Rolex watches and I travel all over the world in my business. I would highly recommend Fourtane to anyone that wants to deal with an honest and genuinely caring jeweler. Mr. Hamma

My fiance and I live in Monterey and needed a quality jeweler on short notice. The staff at Fourtane could not have been more helpful and finished the job the morning we went in. Since then we have gone to them several times and they continue to accommodate us and treat us with the utmost courtesy and respect. Not only do they get the job done quickly, the work is phenomenal! Their jeweler is an absolute magician. We would highly recommend visiting Fourtane for any jewelry needs you have and we will definitely be doing all of our business there in the future.

I had a great experience here. My family and walked through the store and all the staff members were very friendly. Honestly a Rolex is way out of my price range but the staff did not seem to care they just had fun chatting with my family and I. They also had some beautiful vintage watches on display that were very interesting. I got a big kick out of the Dominos Pizza Rolex and the Chevrolet Rolex.

Not only is it one of the best watch stores I have ever been to, but the people were incredibly accommodating. Highly recommended stopping by and taking a look at the timeless classics they possess. I recently purchased a watch online. I couldnt be happier with the entire process. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, they are amazing!!!!
