I cant believe anybody would rate this place as unhelpful. This is the most knowledgeable and helpful staff that I have ever encountered at a liquor store. I love this place because it has a huge selection of single beers available. I love trying new beers so it makes this place a lot of fun. Its the only place in town that has more than just a handful of beers that I havent tried. They have a great selection of 6 packs and imports (Im not talking Heineken and Stella here) as well. Any beer head is sure to love this place!

As a french native, this store is far my best reference (in whole Santa Cruz) in quality and diversity ; i know i will find what i want as well discover new things with always helpful advice from the owner who really knows a lot. This kind of store is more like those with quality customer service we find in Europe where the purpose is for an excellent product to satisfy the client, versus....what we find to often around here!

This store is not huge like many boast to be, but what they dont have in size they more than make up for in selection. The staff is very knowledgeable and be it beers wine or the hard stuff, they have incredible selection, especially considering the alternatives.I have never walked away empty handed from this place

Quite simply them best anywhere. Incredible selection of belgian beers. Great wine selection,(asked about inexpensive french whites), whiskey (and whisky), and just about any other liqour you would want.
