Either understaffed or the management needs to review their system and or training in customer service. I understand running lean but going to buy 2 pair of socks and stood at the cashier for 10 minutes and then had sales staff ring up two customers they were assisting with shoes before me while I stood there totally ignored. Finally had a sales person who realized the situation and asked if I was just waiting to purchase 2 pair of socks and I said yes and she advised the customer she was gong to ring me up first then would ring him up and he replied certainly he was already in line. Thank goodness for civility and common sense.

This was my trip to Snails Pace. My co-workers recommended it since I started to walk back in April as part of the biggest loser contest at work. I bought New Balance 880v4 and the fit great. The most Ive ever spent on walking/running shoes was $19.99 at your standard sporting goods store. My feet & shins would get hot and sore after 15 minutes of walking with my old shoes. The 880v4 are great, my feet and shins dont get hot or sore. My thighs actually ware out before my feet and shins. im up to walking 5 miles per week and sometimes i can walk 3.71 miles in 1:41:43. 1st time at a running shoe store and it was a great experience. The sales lady Samantha was very helpful and patient with me. Never had anyone put my shoes on and tie them for me. That was different but cool customer service. Also having them record the way I walk to make sure they get the perfect shoe was awesome! I havent been to too many running stores, but I really like this one. The staff here are pretty nice and helpful. It seems like a small store, but its had everything I needed. When I bought my pair of running shoes, I appreciated how they scanned my feet and watched me run in the store to see what kind of shoe would best fit me. The shoes seem pricey, but I dont mind for good shoes. I was highly satisfied with my purchase.

Great service and selection here. I am an amateur runner, and starting out I went to Snails Pace to get the right shoes. There are so many things to consider when buying running shoes than I knew. The salesperson had me try on shoes then run across the store and watched the way the shoes perform based on gate and step. I bought the perfect shoes for me, and they are so comfortable that I actually perform better.
