I could seriously live in this store. Like have it be my apartment or something. Lofty ceilings. A kitty cat. Witty (and sometimes attractive) visitors to keep me amused. And impressively enough, in a space 1/50 the size of a Barnes & Noble, Skylight ALWAYS has the book/mag Im looking for.Seriously cool staff. Theyre the kind of folks youd want to befriend if you met them randomly at a friends party. Smart, witty, urbane, well frocked and just "good people".

I like this book shop. Its smaller, but with a good selection of things that I wouldnt immediately go to a chain bookstore to find. I like the focus on the neighborhood, and the availability of more obscure periodical publications. The layout seems fine, and the location is easy to get to while downtown. I havent had much interaction with the staff, but they seem helpful and pleasant.

Pegasus has a posted no-return policy. They will exchange an item for store credit, but only within 7 days of purchase. I tried to exchange something after 11 days, but the girl behind the counter wouldnt make an exception. So yes, I was aware of the return/exchange policy, and I tried to be the exception to the rule, and I was denied. And I will never shop here again.

This is a bookstore for the ages. Plenty of knowledgeable and kind assistance. A variety of tips on cards on the books themselves. I have been visiting Pegasus at one location or another since the Pendragon days. Amazon has almost nothing on these guys; what they might lack in volume they make up for in warmth.

Among the best bookstores in the whole bay area. Super knowledgeable staff, a curated selection of new and used books, and an atmosphere that feels like home as soon as you step in the door. Dont come here unless youre ready to walk out with a great book!

Im not a hoarder, but if my budget allowed, Id probably hoard books. You could get really caught up in this place and spend an entire day without even knowing looking through the awesome selections of books. Man, I really love books.

Dont bother selling books to them. Theyre pretty elitist about what they take and they give you an insulting amount of cash back. Youre better off donating them all to Goodwill. At least then you know some good comes out of it.

Amazing book selection at fantastic prices. They got in a bulk order of unique books before I went in and I found an antique copy of Thaïs from 1920 with beautiful art. Stuff members were great and helpful.

A good selection of mostly recently published secondhand books. Some new books and remainders too. Not the place where youre likely to find much thats particularly unusual or ancient, though.
