Hamra has very friendly staff and excellent selection of jewelry but take your purchases elsewhere for any repairs or sizing. Unfortunately, they seem to have a very inexperienced jeweler who on two occasions did a poor job of sizing my wifes engagement ring. First, they created a flat spot on a round ring, then they replaced part of the shank and did a sub par job welding it back together. I ended up taking it to another well known jeweler in the Valley to have repairs done. Again, good people, bad jewelry repair/sizing. Hopefully, they will invest in a better jeweler soon. I will not take my jewelry back until then...

We had a great experience here over the weekend. I had received a $300 gift certificate that I wanted to use before it expired, and I really didnt want to spend a lot on top of the certificate. I went in knowing that it would be a smaller purchase, and Darla Jo didnt mind at all. She helped us look through all sorts of beautiful pieces, and spent a good deal of time explaining some of the items I was more interested in. Even though this purchase was small, Darla Jo has won our future business... and my boyfriend knows exactly which engagement ring I had my eyes on during our trip there! :]

I was very hesitant to take my ring to a jeweler because I feel like it could so easily be altered. I asked my friend where she recommended I go and her husband said to see Jeff Hamra. My Mom brought in my engagement ring to be repaired, cleaned, and iridium plated. She kept saying how beautiful the shop and service was. My ring was cleaned and the prong repaired right on the spot. It only took one day to have it dipped, where other jewelers quoted 3 days. My ring seriously looks better than when I was first proposed to. Ill be referring people to Hamras and definitely coming back!

I like dealing with professionally experienced salesmen. Jered McClain is very knowledgeable and experienced. In looking at time pieces he doesnt try to just sell you the watch but points out how the watch works and how it will enhance your life style weather your a doctor or an accountant. The Rolex time piece was my selection and a selection was made within the line and I cant tell you that everything the piece represents is actually the truth. I wear it for dress or sport and it draws attention beyond. I am happy with JERED and the Hamra store. I was treated like royalty.

Hamra is the best jeweler in Scottsdale for jewelry repair. My wife is extremely tough on her jewelry and Hamra Jewelers has done an excellent job of repairing many pieces for us. Dont tell anyone, but my wifes secret super hero power is the ability destroy jewelry. Luckily, Hamra Jewelers super hero power is the ability to restore those destroyed pieces back to new. Additionally, Paul and Jeff Hamra have been extremely helpful in recommending jewelry that my wife cannot destroy.

Met some of the staff at the Breitling Bentley event and decided to check out the store the next day. Id been into Hamra once before to look at a watch for my wife a couple years ago. Hadnt been back since. Im glad I stopped in again! The watch fellow I talked with explained the nuances of the chronograph watches and the difference in price and specs between the watches... rolex, omega, breitling etc. I found one for the wish list! Great service, great selction!

#rip-off!!! Dont usually write bad reviews, but I hate that myself or anyone I know getting price-gauged. Stopped in to request my 3 wedding bands be soldered together - bought in Antwerp, Belgium while traveling abroad. They quoted $750!!!! I panicked and called a girlfriend who had just married also... she referred me to House of Diamonds on Tatum and they provided the exact same service for $75, and did a beautiful job :D YUCK!

a friend of mine referred me to hamra after i told him i needed to find a watch repair place that could fix a strap issue on my rolex. he said hamra was where he purchased his omega a while back and that they did some good jewelry repair on some of his wifes stuff. i have to say...he was right. hamra serviced my rolex quickly and did it at a reasonable price. ill definitely be back thenext time i need a watch repair on my rolex.

My fiance bought my engagement ring while in Scottsdale at Hamra Jewelers. He raved about the service and helpful direction the staff gave him when selecting my ring. Now I can rave about Hamras service since they have been cleaning my ring at no additional cost. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Hamra Jewelers.

wouldnt go here they dont deal on prices at all. i think we all expect to deal when buying jewelry but they are very difficult to deal with..i found the mall or old town jewelers more friendly and willing to negotiate which i expect when buying high priced items. basic car salesman type for staff only in it to rip u off.

Well, after five years Im finally going to propose to my wonderful girlfriend. I live in N. Scottsdale so I ventured into Hamra for a look after a friend told me about the place. I walked out with a ring, a gorgeous one for a price which wasnt as bad as I was expecting. I cant wait to show her :-)

I walked into Hamra to have a battery replaced on my watch and was treated very well by the staff even though we weren;t doing big business. while I was there I looked at some Michele watches and some of the Tacori jewelry...LOVED IT! Thank you and hopefully Ill be back!

I am prepared to buy a new Rolex but not from Hamra Jewelers after reading the reviews. It seems that the staff is not entirely up front or simply isnt informed. They wont see me coming in the door. Cute!!! for some reason my post doesnt post as I typed it......

Not a good experience. They lack truthful information. Shady prices. Rings and earrings always have a price change. Once the decision is made the owner finds ways to add to the price. I dont trust his way of doing business. Unhappy customer. will not go back.

Fantastic experience. Literally hand delivered a ring to my house 20 minutes away after having it made overnight. Highest quality and most unique jewelry I could find and all at a reasonable price. Ill use Hamra for life.
