We pawned jewelry and coins and received the amount of $950. When the pawn became due in 90 days, went into the store and I was advised that in June of 2013 the store had been robbed and that our items were no longer available. However, we were assured that the items were insured by Lloyds of London and that we would be given a financial settlement for those items. But, we would have to wait for the insurance company to settle the claim. They requested that we make good on the pawn in the amount of $1154.00 which reflected the pawn amount and interest. This would ensure us that our property would be covered. We at that time contacted the Police Dept. and verified that Executive Pawn had been robbed. In the time since then I have made several personal visits as well as phone conversations with the manager at Executive Pawn who indicated that the insurance claim was still pending and not yet resolved. He also, when I visited him presented to me a clipboard of names and numbers of people who had suffered the same fate as a result of the robbery. He assured me during each contact that the Company was insured and that they would make good on any damages. My last conversation with them was in Dec. of 2014 and I questioned that it had taken so long for them to provide a settlement and that this was highly unusual. The manager again assured me that the matter now had been settled with the insurance company, He instructed me to put together a list of the exact items that were stolen, because when we pawned the items, he said he cannot lend on diamonds or gems only on the gold and silver provided in the rings and antique silver dollars. He put several of the rings in one plastic pouch and labeled it black pearl and weighed the gold, even though there were more than one ring in the bag. He also put two more rings in another bag again just labeling the gold weight. Therefore the pawn ticket did not accurately reflect the rings as the attached list shows. The ticket displayed two black pearl rings and we only pawned one. When I went in to talk with him last, he remembered our situation and putting more than one ring in a bag and that is why he wanted a documented list of was stolen for the owners. We provided appraisal and other documentation and even pictures of the rings stolen so that this matter could be brought to a speedy conclusion at this point. He said he would give these documents to the owner and they would be in touch shortly. I had made no less than 3 more calls to the manager and he insisted it was still being worked on. This was very suspicious to me at that point because we are talking over 11/2 years.About 3 weeks ago I called again to the Pawn shop and now was told that the management had been changed and that they only accounted for 3 rings instead of the six that were pawned. I explained the situation and the new manager told me that he would get with the owner and call me back.Again no contact. Upon visiting the store we were told that this bald headed gentleman was the new manager and that the store had change hands as of Monday. It has been stated that Cortland Management is in the process of purchasing Executive Pawn but had not taken place. Further it was stated that someone have spoken to the previous owner just prior to me calling and that he was aware of my situation, due to a broken hard drive that we has attempting to get repaired he was holding off getting this resolved with me.I have check with he BBB and they no longer will associate with Executive Pawn because of bad reviews and Yelp has several complaints etc. I further checked with the AZ Corp Commission and Kurt Tompkins is still the the statutory agent and owner of Executive Pawn as of 3-23-2015 and has been the owner since 3-2009. The value and appraisals of my items I pawned totals $15,950.00

Absolutely the best experience Ive ever had. I believe I was talking to a girl named China if I remember correctly. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. It amazed me how much she understood anything from watches to guns. She made you feel as if the dumbest possible question was okay to ask with her. Usually I come here to buy cheap, but you can also sell and or acquire loans. This place is great wouldnt go anywhere else if I can help it
