I can remember the very first time I walked into Club Tattoo, when by a stroke of fate, I was introduced to Lucas Patterson. Lucas is an artist an eye that can see and capture magic most are not able to behold and is one of the most amazing, multifaceted artists of our time. When I first met Lucas in December of 2014, I stumbled into Club Tattoo, tagging along that night with a friend who had an appointment to get work done with another artist there. The piece my friend was getting would take some time, so I figured to take the opportunity to check out a new shop. Prior to that evening I had already gone thru the tattooing process, just at another shop further north, for only a few, smaller pieces. I instantly had good vibes upon entering Club Tattoo for that very first time, which allowed for the energy to remain open to possibility. I had no intention of getting a tattoo that night along side my friend, although I had many ideas for pieces I wanted at the time, I had never really met an artist I felt connected with for the work I wanted and had envisioned. I kept telling myself I would know somewhere deep down when it was all just right. I started up conversation with an artist, rambling on about all these ideas in my head. Giving probably not enough detail and stumbling over my words trying to get all the information out, it didnt take long before I was sent in the direction of Lucas. Describing more large-scale pieces, only compromised of very detailed line work, shading, no color, and complicated placement, I was reassured that Lucas was my guy. Talk about hitting the jackpot. Listening to me ramble on in fifty different ways about a forearm piece I had wanted, but was unable to draw myself or find an artist to capture what my imagination held so dearly to, Lucas just stood in thought for a moment before asking me simply, "How do you feel about circles?" His question struck no opposition, so I went with it, just admiring his process of drawing this delicate, intricate, thoughtful, simply beautiful, work of art. I surely stood to be a bit of a challenging first time client admittedly, but Lucas rose to that challenge and conquered the results in more ways than one. After seeing what he drew up, it was without hesitation I jumped into the deep end that night and had Lucas tattoo the very design he stood before me drawing. That moment I had been waiting for had arrived, the moment I knew. Looking back to that night, my decision to open up, to trust, and work with Lucas was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It was not only the beginning of what would be process of creating wildly unique art, but too the start of a wonderful friendship. Over these last couple years I have had the pleasure of working with Lucas for every single one of my tattoos...all thirty of them and my sleeve to date...(and the three I had prior to knowing Lucas I had him go over and touch up). One thing I have learned is there is really nothing Lucas cant do. He is smart, sensitive, and tenacious, all qualities that show in his work. So now one sleeve and over thirty other tattoos later, Lucas has brought to life every idea I could ever dreamt into reality. His consistency, professionalism, and unlimited creativity never cease to amaze and inspire me. Knowing Lucas has not only derived amazing art work, but also brought forth a life long friendship, both of which have allowed me to feel more myself than I ever had before. My obsession with all my pieces, my sleeve especially, grows daily. His work tells a story...It provokes curiosity and thought, begging the individual to reflect and feel. Just going thru my most basic daily routine, I always have his business cards on me, just because so many are in awe of their originality and how they encompass so many different complex elements. His art work is bold, delicate, complex and dynamic, so much so that in a passing moment many must know the name of the artist whose work is felt...And that is all Lucas...I, simply, could not be more honored to be their canvas.

Ive been going to Lucas at Club Tattoo in Old Town for the past year and now I wont go anywhere else! He does such good work. Hes super creative and takes my basic ideas and makes them into amazing tattoos. He really takes the time to make sure that they turn out well each time. He also takes into consideration the tattoos that I already have and makes sure my new ones fit in well. All of them have healed really well and end up looking awesome. Hes consistently on time for my appointments and also does not take breaks in the middle of a session. Everyone at this shop is professional and friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. Id recommend it to anyone

BAD TATTOO... Flat out I got a bad tat. Simple idea of a letter R with some asian water style around it. instead I got a letter P with little black nugget that was suppose to make it a R. 5 people looked at it and all said its a P... Voiced my concern at the intial drawing and after layed out and was assured it would work... It doesnt... The nugget isnt even lined up so it cant be connected. Basically got the letter P with some blue blob around it. The artist bio looked great. I guess I got him on a bad night. Waste of 460 bucks. And no after care product offered... Im going to try and forget I even have it!!!!!!

Wow... what can I say? well... aside from being the cleanest tattoo parlor Ive ever encountered, the staff was absolutely fantastic! Wonderful customer service and superbly professional environment. Id like to give a special show of appreciation to my artist, Lucas Patterson. His demeanor is especially warm and welcoming, he keeps you laughing, while he effortlessly performs his craft to the highest standards. His black work is absolutely phenomenal! Needless to say, yet Im compelled to mention... Lucas Patterson at Club Tattoo in Scottsdale will be my tattoo artist going forward! Thanks, bud! ....

I always love going to this location of club tattoo. Its right by where I live and has the best artists and piercers! The last time I went in, Lucass(one of the tattoo artists) work really caught my eye. I managed to catch him when he was free because hes usually always in high demand. He thouroughly walked me through the process and gave me my first tattoo! He was not only entertaining, but hes amazing at what he does. I would recommend paying Lucas a visit soon!

Lucas is THE MAN! He has done all mine and my best friends tattoos. He can literally do anything.... from his own free hand artwork, to someone elses sketch. I always reccomend him, and trust no one else but him. Club tattoo is super personable and super super clean. Which makes me so comfortable lol. I enjoy everyone there when I come in. As we speak I am getting my Buddha quarter sleeve done by him! It looks in real and Im so happy!!!
