I recently went to Wisemagic to get some dermal anchors because it was the only shop in Arizona that would give anchors to minors with parental consent (which should have been my first red flag to steer clear). The piercer (Mike, I think?) is cocky, condescending, and unfriendly. He speaks to his customers as if they are wasting his time, and would get upset when my mother asked questions. The piercings were totally crooked and the posts were protruding quite a bit, but he said that in time they would "sink into place" if I wore band-aids. I followed all the aftercare and still, they were jutting out and excessively bruised. (I might add that I have 7 other piercings done by other shops, so I have an idea of how a GOOD piercing should look on my body and how to take care of them.) I went back to him about a week later to bring this up, and he continued to deny there was anything wrong with the piercings. To play it safe I went to 3 other piercing shops to ask their opinions... ALL of the other shops (including HTC, which is very reputable) said that anchors should NEVER look like this and that it was clearly a poor job on the piercers account; warning that they would only get worse, the other shops suggested I have them taken out immediately, which I did. Basically, I ended up paying $100 bucks for awful service and came out the other end with absolutely nothing to show for it but ugly scars. Maybe their tattoos turn out better, but as far as their piercings - DONT GO HERE. I have never had a more unpleasant experience than with Wisemagic. Go to HTC where they are extremely friendly and, even better, they know what theyre doing!

Amazing shop and fabulous tattoo! After wanting a tattoo for several years, I finally decided I wasn’t getting any younger, and mustered up the courage to finally walk into a tattoo shop. I’d never been in one before and had no idea what to expect. I was more than a bit nervous, but with my husband’s support we walked in. I have to say that this shop was so clean and the people working there were amazing. We were immediately greeted and asked how they could help. We explained that this would be my first tattoo and had lots of questions. One of the tattoo artists, Tanner, came up and talked with us. I showed him a basic picture of what I wanted. He offered great suggestions without telling me what I should get. I had no idea about colors or style, or anything and he was very patient. He drew something up for me and it was perfect. I ended up walking out of the shop with just the right tattoo. He did a fantastic job and it was never painful. It’s been two weeks now and it healed beautifully with no scabbing.

I went in for a nose piercing and ended up leaving witha new tattoo as well. They were amazing people I genuinely loved my experience their everyone was soo funny an easy to get along with. My piercing was easy and simple Rob made really good suggestions to me and I'm happy with why turned out. Then Tanner came Ina dn I asked about a cover up tattoo and he was friendly and suggested some good ideas. In the end he came up with something real nice and he covered up my old tat perfectly you can't even see it! And best of all it doesn't look like its kit stamped on there. It looks as if that was the original tattoo even though we kept some of te old tatto and he just went over it. In the end I'm extremely satisfied and if I ever decide on another tattoo I won't mind driving from palm springs to get the same quality and service I received tonight!!!!!

I love this tattoo shop because everyone is really friendly (and funny) and they dont give off the "Im way cooler than you" vibe that a lot of tattoo shops have. I went there for my first time to get a price quote on covering up some bad tattoos on my chest and I was given good feedback and a much better price than other shops in the area. Aaron ended up doing the cover up that same day and did a phenomenal job. These guys are just so cool and its a welcoming environment. If youre considering a tattoo for the first time Im convinced that this shop is perfect if you want quality work as well as to feel comfortable and not intimidated.

I originally reviewed this place as poor to fair. However that was about 2 years ago with an individual that i really cant say is an artist. I dont remember her name, but she is no longer there. I went in today to get some lyrics done on my wrist and had Tanner do them. Great guy. Very polite and awesome to talk to. Wasnt the most complex piece, but I was able to walk in, and be in a chair in less than 30 minutes. I dont regret the money I spent there, and I intend on going back to have it filled in a bit more and add some color, perhaps some other things to it. =)

So I called Wise Magic tattoo, after being referred to them by the owner himself, to schedule an appt. I called on a Friday and spoke with the receptionist who said I wouldnt need an appointment because mondays are pretty slow. I arrived on Monday at around 5p.m. (their hours are 12-9) and the doors were locked, lights off, no one to be found. I waited for about a half an hour, called repeatedly, and finally just left. I was so disappointed and will definitely be letting the owner know next time I see him.

Tami is the best! All of my tattoos and piercings have been done at this shop. Very clean! with great people working there. Tami does great work! I have brought her ideas and she has always figured out what I want. She even has just drawn strait on my skin with sharpie and it looks great! Mike did all my piercings and I never had any problems with them. I wish that I will be there soon to see tami.

I went and got my 1st tattoo at Wisemagic,at age 44.I was very impressed with the shop and the people that worked there,also there work.I had Tami she made sure,I was okay and very sweet.She did my tattoo just as I wanted,I fully recommend going to her,if you are ever wanting a tattoo.Thanks again for the rose on my ankle,Tami.

My girlfriend and I went into Wisemagic for her first tattoo. Jessica made it an incredible experience for her. She took her time modifying my girlfriends artwork. She was patient and fun. A very talented artist as well. We will recommend Wisemagic (especially Jessica) to everyone. Thank you Jessica. Well definitely be back.
