In Response to Your Reply: I really appreciate you reaching back out. Like I mentioned I do understand that I may not always get the price im looking for. I am happy to hear that there are specials on all categories. Its also mainly the attitude and lack of concern from members of the staff. I havent said anything until now only because I have had so many better experiences before. I have been seeing a repetition in the manner in which I have felt very under valued in the approach about all requests whether it was a discount question or general request on availability of product. Thank you again for responding to me I hope that I will experience a better attitude from the staff. Like I said there is a handful of good people there that do make a difference. I just want to make you aware of my concerns. I will be happy to reach out to the store manager to express my concerns as well. Best Regards Original Message: I am really disappointed over the decline in customer engagement I have been experiencing over the past several months. I really used to enjoy coming here and finding fun nostalgic stuff whether it be DVDs, Comics, Toys, or old school videogames. Clearly when working in the collectible or resell market there is no way to always garuantee the sale of the item as it is based on age, condition, and desirability. The most recent example of this was last night. I was interested in Mike Tysons Punchout and Double Dragon for NES. Great titles, however, they were definitely not well taken care of prior. There appears to be coffee or chocolate stains on Double Dragon and Punchout looks well played at best and I offered to buy both games if they would be willing to help me a little bit on price. I didnt ask for anything unreasonable. Since the outside condition of the game may also reflect poor playable continiuty in the future. The girl said "ugghh just because theyre dirty probably not.." and asked the other comic book guy who didnt even make eye contact with me and said in a very dopey and uninterested tone "probably not... " (He btw is typically very unengaged when approached and shows a very poor demeanor/attitude.) Instead of making a sale they opted to provide poor customer service. I understand that I may not always get the price im looking for but the way they said and approached the situation was just poor. Instead I kept my money and they got to keep their dirty games. (Its not like their going to fix the game after the 7 day return policy if it stops working and then what? Im out money and possess a cartridge that needs repair. Even on the basis that I could take the game apart and clean the board and the connectors its still time and work on my part.) This has been the case for sometime even on simple requests like whether or not something is in stock. I really used to advocate this location and purchase solid finds at reasonable prices. This has not been the case here and it is very sad. I understand that you are in the business to make money but meeting the customer halfway on reasonable requests will help further that goal as well as declining a customer request professionally when reasonable to do so. Maybe in time with the right staff in place, things will turn around. Unfortunately, I have been taking my business else where due to the general poor customer service and pricing.

These people are scam artists I wanted a price on what they would give me for my items they told me to leave them with them and look around the store I was Concerned to do so because I did not want anything to happen to my items because I could tell they were not paying attention in there with people before me after about an hour wait I went back to see how much they were going to give me because they never even called my name in the store was clearing out they brought out half of my items and said we will not take these we will just want these three items when I stated where is the rest of my items with 10 missing they said no this is what you brought in and I said no put your video on your store they told me they have no video whatsoever in their store I asked for the manager I finally they poured for more items back from behind the counter that it looks like he was trying to steal for himself so there still about six items left after me being very upset did they take care of me and make things right know what they do they banned me from the store is that I can never come back and do business with them because I had a bad attitude when they try to steal from me watch them like a hawk if you bring your items in there they are scam artistsThe use and liars and if you call them out on you on it they will kick you out ofthe store and Ban you. They are good for nothing punks what happened to good customer service and what has this world come to

I really like Zias. They have great things at great prices and Im a regular shopper. I often go to this and the Camelback locations for birthday, Christmas, and aniversary gifts. I also come here to find things that I have trouble locating in other places, such as old cult and banned films. Ive never had problems with the customer service here. The workers are always willing to help me find things and listen to me talk about the things Im passionate about. They are kind and wonderful and I really like shopping here for those reasons. People complain about the money they get from a trade, but this place works the same as a pawn shop and, honestly, the same as retail. They look items up based on what they are, their condition, and how it is selling in their stores. If it does well, you get a better price for what you are selling. When they price it into their store, they will often double or quadrupal the price to ensure that they get their money back. All retail and pawn shops work this way, sorry for those that are dissapointed.

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED... We have been a customers at Zia for close to 10 years. We regularly go in and spend hundreds of dollars on just movies. I decided to buy my daughter a Nintendo DS light. And 26 games !! I spent a total of 118.12. Gave my daughter the device for her 10th birthday for it not to work. I brought it back tonight with the receipt. The guy just kept offering me store credit. I dont want store credit thats not going to play 26 games I just bought. He proceeds to tell me the charger is cheap. Thats the charger they sold me with the DS I spent 20 on just the charger !!! I left the store with the same broken DS and Im waiting to speak to the store manager. Please do NOT buy game systems from here I learned the hard way. Game Stop will sell me a newer Nintendo DS for $50 and have better customer service skills. Very disappointed in Zia and the way this was handled.

If I could give less stars I would; I bought a game today, with cash, and when I returned it less than 5 hours later, I was totally surprised when the rude guy behind the counter forced me to take a gift card, as no one ever told me this was their policy! Had they, I would have walked out and Never looked back! Unlike ALL of the other stores that I have shopped at; Zia Refused to give me a Real refund! I Will Not shop at a store that holds my money randsome, apparently they are not secure enough with their customer flow to allow customers to make the Choice to shop there again. Even Bookmans and Walmart give you your money back with a receipt! I will never shop here ever! **Buyers Beware** make sure that you truly want whatever it is that you are buying or a worthless ZIA Giftcard will be in your future!!
