Fresh, crisp, organic produce. Amazing selection of gluten-free AND dairy-free options from breads to desserts to frozen foods...blows away ALL other stores in the valley, including Whole Foods! My eyes popped when I saw the MANY kinds and styles of dairy-free cheeses! Every time I go in something is on sale. Like brewed ginger beer? They have at least 8-10 brands with many flavors in bottles, cans, whatever! Nutritional supplements galore, and knowledgeable nutritionists happy to assist you for free. I stopped buying online and now buy from them...Ive really missed handling the bottles and getting my questions answered real-time. Turns circles around Healthy Habit for variety. In store seminars, too. I first experienced them in Colorado and waited 5 years for them to come down here. Not a single GMO item in the store! All products are researched carefully. Formerly Vitamin Cottage. I rarely buy from Sprouts anymore...inferior company more interested in profits than customer satisfaction, and a CEO with child pornography on his computer? I choose to NOT support such a company! Natural Grocers is a wholesome company truly invested in us! Check out the visual representation of egg-laying chicken freedom on the floor in the Indian School/7th Ave store...completely changed what kind of eggs I buy! Thank you Natural Grocers!

Everyone here is so awesome! All managers/assistant managers Chris, Larry, Anthony, Doug, Aldo, and Terrel are very professional and very knowledgeable of the products on their shelves. Anna lee, the stores nutrition specialist helped me with all of the different questions I bought to the table. The rest of the stores associates dont fall short of amazing... Grace, Kat, Rebecca, Analise and Caitlin are great communicators and seem to work effortlessly bouncing between stocking product and produce, running the registers, and helping customers with basic AND in-depth q&a. The general energy @ this store is incomparable to any grocery store Ive been to. Id hate to sound like Im overselling it, but I cant even begin to explain how much I appreciate the level of professionalism and pride this team takes with all they do and their customers happy smiling faces just go to show how awesome all of them are. Besides the great staff youll find that the prices are lower here than other like stores. Truly a great experience every time I go, they also hold informative classes a few times a month, I recommend this place to anyone. I could go on and on but I think by now you get my point. These guys are the best!

I was so excited when this Natural Grocers opened because I live right down the street, so grocery shopping is much more convenient. I like Natural Grocers in general because they carry only organic produce. However, produce can be limited and not always in the best condition, but Ive found this to be true of all Natural Grocers Ive been to. I really only have issues with berries. Sometimes theyre already molding on the shelf or they look like theyre about ready to go bad - not ideal since theyre berries can be pretty pricey. Its certainly not a deal breaker. I just go somewhere down the road if the berries arent looking their best. They staff here is super friendly and helpful. They also have cooking and nutrition classes. Ive been to a few, including skincare classes where the instructors showed us how to make homemade body scrubs and face masks. The best part? These classes are free! And theyre taught by professionals - either the Natural Grocers nutritionist and dietician or a local professional.

I enjoy shopping here, it is great and the price is going to be like that if you want healthy, quality and the best experience ever. I gave it four stars because it seems as if some employees are a bit distant or do not care to chat with certain people. one of the security stands as if people going to walk out of the store. Other than that you must go and purchase the ALOE ROOT it so great for making drink, for your skin, hair, and all over your body. This is like the only store in Phoenix, AZ that offers such superb in ALOE and other fine foods and drinks, lets not forget the face products and vitamins. I love this stuff, they should give me a job here, I would not mind it as a second job. My customer service is great and exceptional.

A well-stocked natural foods store at first glance. They are bagless, which is cool, but all of the bulk items come prepackaged, which kind of defeats the purpose of buying in bulk. The produce section is rather small, but I think that speaks more to the volume of sales than commitment to providing fresh fruits and vegetables. If you are in the market for packaged food, however, youre in luck. They have just about every natural product you can imagine, at decent prices. If this wasnt phoenix, the score would probably be lower.

My new favorite spot, I truly believe its the Whole Foods and Sprouts killer! The prices are good and there is so many great items you just cant get anywhere other than online! The drinks, the foods, the frozen foods, the oils, lotions, and medicine is amazing and they have a nutritionist there and classes on eating right! Such a great store the only downside is there is only 2 locations Indian School and Scottsdale...if they would put a store in the west valley like the arrowhead area... Man it would be a GAME CHANGER!

Theyve got the meats, organic produce, supplements, books, beauty products! I love this store. I dont care for sprouts anymore. Not only is this store less expensive but its less crowded and annoying. They have items that are hard to find, like natural duck fat haha and tomato sauce in a jar. The most amazing part is their bulk foods. I can get a giant 20 lb bag of organic rice that will last me forever. Im going to miss this store when I move.

Theyve pulled Dr. Michael Gregers book, HOW NOT TO DIE, from their shelves saying it isnt compatible with their company values. WTF? Science-proven, evidence-based reasons to eat a WFPBNO diet are not compatible with their values? Sounds like their values are profit before health and theyd rather peddle meat and dairy, eggs and oil than be a truly natural, health-promoting store. Will not be shopping there again, ever. Shame!

My sister says the manager is super cute, and that is her reason for going. However, the actual store sports clean, wide aisles and a bounty of healthy grocery choices. I especially love all the dried fruit that doesnt contain any added sugar and allllll the lovely kombucha! Im told they also actually help you decide what supplements would be appropriate!

Great variety of organic fruits and veggies and comfortably priced. A plethora of health and beauty products to fit all needs and preferences. Ample variety of health supplement items and assistance. A haven for vegetarians, vegans, raw. Gives you endless options for a balanced and satisfying meal. Bring your eco friendly bags!

They carry a large variety of health food items like Braggs amino acids, Miracle noodles, organic meat, vegan choices and other products that are not easily found in a regular grocery store. I will say the prices are high so if you expect to get a deal like Trader Joes or even Sprouts thats not what you going to find here.

There is not too much to say except: one of the best organic stores. The front looks little shady but when you go inside its amazing. Everyone is really nice, prices are awesome. Its a real competition to whole foods and we love it. Billy was awesome. Thank you for everything. Definetly a customer for life.
