Girlfriend went here to sell them some books. They rattled off their policy faster than she could keep up. She wandered the store while they tallied the worth and when she came back another staff member told her that because she didnt specify beforehand that she wanted cash, that they would only do store credit. She asked about retrieving her property and the guy said no, they didnt know which books were hers. Wouldnt have been difficult to figure out though, there was only one other customer in the entire store that time of day. Not only that, shouldnt they be able to just recalculate how much cash $25 of store credit would be worth? The staff member was being very rude and overly defensive from the way she described her experience. They also dont give a receipt for store credit, they just assure you that they entered your name in the system (good luck if you have a common name). I went there later with her to pick out some books to use up the store credit on. Thats when we found out that you can only use store credit on used books and ones that havent been released any time recently. Not only that, but they only use store credit to cover half of your purchase! My girlfriend was forced to pick out books she wasnt super interested in, and her overall experience was so bad that she doesnt even want to return there to use up the rest of her store credit. She basically gave away a pile of books for the right to still pay out of pocket for a few books she didnt really want. Dont shop here.

A great place to find both new and unusual previously owned books while supporting a local small business. You can swap books from your own collection for partial credit toward your purchases or sell for cash. I always find more than I counted on and it keeps our reading family well-stocked with good reading, while keeping the stacks and stacks at home at bay. Easy access from the Loop 202 just off Power Road.

Me and my friend went in to check out their new location.The staff asked us numerous times if we needed help. We even got to talk to the owner for a few minutes. You cant do that at a large chain bookstore.They have a great selection of books and movies.
