I honestly dislike this safeway so much. Especially the Deli department, they always ignore you while you are waiting literally 10 minutes. Even though they see you waiting they choose to do their side duties instead. I get that its almost closing time and they want to get their work done and go home but customer service is customer service. They are very unprofessional and dont seem quite pleased working. They shouldnt even work there if they hate it that much. Also, they never have enough cashiers... There is only 1 or 2 during evenings which is always the busiest. The elder ladies take their sweet time ringing customers up when they see a very long line waiting... people have stuff to do. They need to hire better staff, in my opinion.. The customer service is very unpleasing and I rather drive another 2 miles or so to another safeway just so I dont have to bother dealing with them ignoring me. Other words, I do not recommend coming to this location.

FURIOSSCREAMER FAMS

We purchased store brand macaroni and cheese- when we attempted to make a box there were little black bugs in the pasta. After opening all pasta and putting into baggies we threw out boxes of pasta (at least 15 boxes) we contacted Safeway customer service (would be disgusting to take boxes of food with bugs to a grocery store). However after dealing with Safeway customer support we should have taken the boxes to the store because the service or lack there of from their support is miserable. We used to love shopping at Safeway, the in store service teams are great and the product used to be good. After this experience we will not shop here. There are plenty of other great grocery stores near us. And before this we had never had a bead experience. This however is more than enough to completely turn us off from this store.

No sales help anywhere on the floor. The store had a wine closeout section, but the prices were as high as retail in other stores Ive shopped at...there was no one around to ask if I was missing something, such as a % off the prices marked. Too bad, since there were a # of wines I was interested in, but not at the prices marked. Not the friendliest shopping experience Ive had in local markets, compared to nearby Frys, for example. Store was clean, only one sale item was unavailable, everything else easy to locate.

FIRST AND ONLY PLACE TO EVER DENY ME USING MY SAMSUNG/APPLE PAY. THEY GET PAID BY APPLE AND SAMSUNG TO HAVE IT UPDATED IN THEIR SYSTEM BUT DENY CUSTOMERS THE RIGHT TO USE IT. I HAD ALREADY SCANNED THE CARD READER AND IT ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO MAKE A DONATION, BEFORE I COULD DO ANYTHING ELSE, THE KID TELLS ME YOU CANT DO THAT. I SAID DO WHAT?? HE SAYS YOU CANT PAY THAT WAY BECAUSE OF POSSIBLE FRAUD. ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY KIDDING ME!!!? IM BRINGING THIS UP THE CHAIN.

The store did not have AC and when I asked a manager about it he just shrugged me off. The curb appeal was very dirty. People in the store, that were in a higher position could have caredless. When the new Frys opens up it will close your store. You need to really step back and look outside the box. I saw a store that is sinking. Thanks for letting me tell you the truth. I hope someone who cares makes going into your store a pleasant experience . Joe.

Your store is the worst grocery store i have ever been to! your customer service people are snobs and they think they are better than everyone else! Its a wonder you are even open for business! The 99cent store has more class than you people do! I Will never shop at your store! I Will go where people are treated like human beings! At times I feel they should only get 2 stars..... I dont shop there too much anymore. Theyre too much of a ghetto Safeway. Even all there dairy stuff thats on sale a lot of its past the pull date. Geez got to have a code to go to the bathroom blah blah blah so sorry Safeway usually youre one of the top but the one in Apache Junction sucks worst one Ive ever been to in my 57 years of walking Gods green earth

The best supermarket in Apache Junction. The staff is friendly and courteous even with the disgusting morons who populate this backwater redneck town. The weird thing is that even among the dregs who are the majority of the population in this backward city, this supermarket carries loads of wonderful items for the discerning, affluent, food-conscious, educated minority.

Definitely the dirtiest, least inviting Safeway Ive seen coast to coast. Commonplace for spilled blood and meat juices to be all over the refrigerated meat section under the bagged meat. Almost always expired drinks in the fridge. The only reason I run in several times per week is because my gym is next door and there arent any other grocers for several miles.

Have been shopping at this Safeway for 3 winters now and heading out for our 4th. Have always liked the store. Courteous, attentive staff best of all good prices and product. It would be nice if they would carry more "no sugar added or sugar free product for diabetics.

Its never crowded. They have a great meat selection and a great adult beverage selection as well. There people are very friendly and have a good knowledge of there store, unlike walmart where there too big for there own good. Shop Safeway you wont be disappointed.

To many freeloaders outside the door asking for money etc, people have the right to ask but the store should ask them to leave not allow it every day! My wife is scared to step foot in this store time to time. But the blond hair younger cashier she is super nice.

Deli clerk finished serving customer, took her time checking and turning chicken. Then when she did decide to check my item out she questioned why I didnt use the bakery employee. She didnt want to check out my bakery purchase.

Great sales ,ice cream section was empty when advertising such sale of store brand ice cream but the remainder of sales were stocked well .store clean ,Staff friendly easy in and out of check out lines fast too

Its always clean and theres a good produce variety but man its expensive. Also good luck "running in to get something quick" because theres only ever one cashier.
